So next time i will add the no. in shipping address to be on safer side , till now i was assuming that it is associated with Amazon registered no only . Though i have been providing my primary no. earlier but as an alternative.
Yes. it’s a big flaw but for the time being it is beneficial for me , Yes they could do things better by making compulsion of activating via any of the one process like

P.S – I have sent request via registered email address , though didn’t get to know about activation status as they don’t reply to activation request emails

But, like Paytm, they charge only 1% for withdrawals for KYC-verified accounts.

Did you try registering on youfirst site, though it used to work for me without that, also not sure if it matters but my card activation request was send by sms.
I should be getting my cards activated in a couple of days will check.

Seems like there are different ways of treatment by RBL depending on the process of activation . No wonder they change their process later on after seeing the no. of activation orders and activation and even start asking for Aadhar card . Ref – Axis gift cards bought from paytm , At first they used to get activated in 1/2 days later it took more than 30 days …..and finally the whole point of buying for benefit died….. atleast from paytm.

@DealSeeker If u have different no in Amazon account and in shipping address than i think u will get sms on Amazon registered mobile no only . This is only reason i see for you if you are not getting transaction alerts .

I haven’t used TC.

As regards RBL,
If u did via email – It takes longer than 2 days.Approx 4-6

If you msg them, they do it in 2 working days. So if u msg them at night, 2 days will start from next day so usually u will get activation tonight or tomorrow.

In case u still don’t get call on CC no in letter they sent . They will solve it .

I don’t remember correctly but it couldn’t be used on freecharge or citrus/udio maybe a month back. Anyway once my cards get activated I would confirm it this time.

My payment via RBL gift card failed but money has been deducted from the RBL card. Is there a way to check the balance of my card so that if money is refunded after 7 days, I could verify?
