for me it was the other way around as got rejected for Amazon Pay twice without any clear reason, applied for ICICI Platinum and after getting it applied for APay and it was approved and got the card asap 😀

Get Amazon pay ICICI card and then apply on basis of it. (You can apply as soon as you get amazon pay card approved)
