I was able to do this same upgrade few days ago using Net banking. Received the Millennia debit card today

Either HDFC is being typically broken, or it’s a shady tactic to make the upgrade difficult.

rewards in selected categories but upto 750rs(platinum charges 750), rewards in most categories upto 400rs (millenia charges 500) . i prefer millenia as for those selected categories credit card is better and millenia gives 2.5% on online spends and 1% for wallet reloads.
