Getting fake UPI registration messages that I did not initiate

I got two messages from my respective banks at the same time.
1. You have successfully added your BHIM UCO UPI account with Axis Amazon app.If its not you, pls contact your bank or register complaint on Toll free no....
2. Request received for registering Kotak Bank a/c on UPI APP. Not you, call on toll free number. Never share card details/OTP/Expiry. *TCA
i did not initiate any such requests, I called up the banks customer care and they said nothing to worry about. But why did I get these messages?
My phone is in my possession. Nobody has access to it nor did I click on any link or downloaded any app.

May be these messages delivered to you late.
Some times I also receive sms after some days of upi registration

it appears that these messages came from Slice app. They have added these bank accounts by themselves. Did anyone else using Slice get these messages?
