Recently i bought AK xb10 to feel how this BT DAC produces sound with my exising tv, phone, firetv stick etc.

The sound is really good and sound stage and instrument separation is good and appreciate it.

Now i am looking for MP3 player with BT to enhance my experience. I have searched online for 2023 products and the likes  Fiio,AK,sony products cost a bomb. I searched further to find out a mp3 that fit my budget of ~3K with BT got things like ruizu x02 ( without BT) x52 with BT. Swofy m2 and m4 are other options. Sony others cost above 5k without BT.

Since the launch dates of these are 3-4 yrs back to date, i was skeptical that the battery might malfunction in notime there by losing my money. Some reviews confirm my thought process.

1. So i request here, if anyone can  suggest good highres mp3 with bt 5.0 that actually work for atleast a year? The warranty,   though they imprint, but mostly we lose valuable time in that.

2. Other query, my current AK XB10  is BT 4.1 DAC. Is there any 3.5mm male to 3.5mm female DAC available?. Most available are type-A, type-c DACs.

TIA

Whatever you shared might be true. But i used sony xm4, bose comfort 35 and this xb10 with  wired headphone. I can recognize sound difference while listening to music. If i play a english movie or songs with xb10 i can identify english words more precisely than on xm4 or qc35.

Let me tell you when i bought sony & bose headphones the likes of mi series, nobody, borne series etc given me different experience.

Now with this xb10 its again new experience. So watching the movies again. As an average user thats my experience.

Now coming back to MP3 player, i wanted to utilize this xb10 with mp3 player for my morning walks instead of using my bulky samsung m51 phone. Just looking for reliable player with BT to use this.

If mp3 players are old ( more than 3to4 yrs since their launch)  then their battery might malfunction thats the worry

P.S. Hi-Res certification, aptX etc. cost a lot to implement. I don't think it's possible to get all that you need without significantly increasing the budget.
