Good news from HDFC for new add-on cards

Until now HDFC was issuing the same card number as primary to all add-on cards.
Now bank has started issuing separate card number for each add-on card and for online transactions, OTP will be sent to add-on holder's mob number. Great move by HDFC bank.
To apply add-on card for family members who are existing HDFC customer, simply apply from Netbanking using add-on holder's customer iD.
Verified personally, card delivered today.

suppose one has Millennia CC which has 1000 CB as limit so getting an add on will make the CB limit via both these cards as 2k?
say earlier when I swipe it offline for a lakh or above (jewellery) I used to get 1000 CB and 1k voucher for spending 1L quarterly, so now if I have a bill of 2L, can I do 1L swipe on each card and get 2000 CB (1000 per card) and 2k voucher (1k per card) for spending 1L on each card?

I don’t think.. add on card is just a another number for your card.. all other card related things remain same..

exactly but with SBI cards (SimplyClick) I was able to get discount on each card during FK sale so wanted to know if its the same with HDFC cards but yeah in my query it was on CB so was not sure if each add on is entitled to get CB like the instant discount during sales 😃

My credit card application always gets declined by HDFC Bank, tried thrice over a span of 1 year. They always appoint an agent for the purpose of kyc but he never shows up and the application gets rejected. Any solution to it?? I hold credit cards from SBI, ICICI, Axis, kotak and idfcfirst. SBI still sends OTP to primary card holder only, so depends on banks.
Since, HDFC rarely participates in sales(Non-EMI), this is almost a useless change.

As far as I understand, they will give the same card number on expiry or replacement unless reported as lost.
