OneCard was offering me FD based Card since a year.
Had written to them many times they said it’s auto triggered they can’t do anything
Yesterday got SMS that I have made it to the list and have got pre-approved offer. Logged in and got the card
Now I have cards from HDFC, ICICI, OneCard and also Slice and Paytm Postpaid.
Which one should I close now to futher improve my CIBIL score?
Paytm Postpaid, no doubt. Close kardo.
Paytm post paid and slice card
Blindly PaytmPostPaid
Paytm postpaid as others suggested.
Now to save you some time,
DM them on twitter and they’ll close it
Don’t bother calling customer care
Paytm Karo
Paytm Postpaid Without thinking anything
Next day Paytm ka Share Aur girega Yaha ke krn 😂
close onecard
Is it possible to get Onecard without giving Gmail access?

De-Googled android do exist. But that’s not the point here, its about this particular app requiring Gmail access. I don’t think by default all apps on Google android device (except Google proprietary apps) require Gmail. Maybe they did it after an update or so.

I know but lots of practical issues for a typical user running such install. OneCard should get at least some email access from your mobile if not gmail. If it hasn’t been done then sooner or later you will be prompted to complete this step.

Of course I did provide an email but of my choice.

You are right, we can use any email id for any non Google android app logins as long as those apps provide such options.

Though email id should be filled while applying, one card login was only through OTP in early days. Then they rewrote login process and forced email access. I faced issues with this change.
I filled Yahoo alias email id initially for one card. Then they changed login process in mid 2021. The app stopped validating my yahoo alias id, it only picked primary id, resulting in mismatch. Raised complaint and waited for resolution for 3 months. No response received. Finally sent them a selfie holding pan card and changed mail to Gmail.
As long as linked mail is not alias IDs, your logins won’t have any issues.
As everyone said close paytm postpaid and also close the slice account as they create multiple account whenever they want in cibil and when you complaint about that they don’t even listen.. so close slice if you don’t use it much.. these nbfc’s are not good..
lazypay is good but lazypay’s account shows as personal loan on cibil that’s the only problem…
