Got Scammed by Flipkart or Sellor or Person

Please Help me To Face This Situation

Few days ago I ordered Go Pro 10 from Flipkart And it delivered today(received fake sjcam)and its open box delivery
Here is the steps involved
I'm not in home at the time of delivery and my wife was there to receive the delivery i asked delivery man to check it is damaged or any other issues he said all are good my wife and the delivery man dont have any idea about go pro 10 and took all photos and said ok i told him the password
I came home by evening and shocked after seeing fake cam
And i checked Flipkart to replace the camera but it denied as its a open box delivery
And contacted customer care he raised the request
I asked him to chek photos at the time of open box delivery
He said our team will look into it and after the process they Will replace the item.

What will happen next will i get replacement or if they deny replacement what should i do..!? IMG20231130220032 IMG20231130213920

Today 01 December 2023 at 12 pm Flipkart and Seller accepted my replacement request and placed replacement product

@Siva1Bopparaju Don't know within how many days you've to raise a dispute but once you raise the chargeback, the card provider will ask for time to settle the dispute ranging from 90 to 120 days. Try to raise the dispute once you get a bad resolution from flipkart.

In my case ordered a Moto G34 mobile but flipkart delivered a Redmi phone my bro didn't know it was an open box delivery and the delivery agent also didn't care to open and show the contents, my bro shared the otp, after opening the box found the wrong one raised issue with flipkart they denied it sent mail they also said same and raised chargeback with axis bank they asked time of 120 days to settle and later like after 70 days issue resolved in my favour, received full amount refund and the phone is still with me.

Same experience with non digital product but open box

Replacement failed as the product didn't match only option was fk support as per replacement executive. Even with all proofs & unboxing video fk denied replacement, refund

Complaint on Consumer forum but didn't had any resolutions. Left off as it is

I thought the same and waiting for Flipkart response proofs are my side so and customer care representative said i checked the open box images and raised request so our team will ask for more information about the product delivered

send mail to flipkart if the resolution is in your favour well and good else raise chargeback if paid from cc.

For such costly items, you always need to be prepared in advance for detailed thorough scrutiny of the delivery person, process and the item delivered. You must have received an out for delivery SMS/email, you should have informed at home.

Let us not forget that there are many scammers amongst the customers as well in addition to the merchants, which has necessisated the concept of open-box delivery. There is nothing much Flipkart can do except follow the due process of secured delivery.

Presently you should try to convince (threaten with FIR) Flipkart with the evidence of delivery snapshots visible. If they deny, file an FIR with your local police station or cybercrime cell along with a chargeback complaint with the credit card

I'll complaint nearest police station on Flipkart, seller and delivary agent if they deny the order because at the time of delivery they captured images of the product as open box delivery

People using open box delivery should actually utilise the whole point behind this which is to check & verify content at the time of delivery. Inform your family members regarding this if you're not at home.

I hope Flipkart gives you a replacement but they must also be thinking why customer accepted the delivery if they received the wrong item.

I would suggest reject the parcel and go for refund
I am pretty sure he will send same fake again this time with more precaution so you would not be able to find its fake in those 5 mins of delivery, once cheater is a cheater, be careful

Call customer care tell them what happens they initiate return and they send link to submit fake product photos.... Submit photos and wait for pickup
