Hi Dimers,
Just an hour ago I started to received multiple login SMS from:
- Simpl (transaction OTP from Razorpay with merchant name as "Urban Monkey")
- Flipkart (login OTP)
- Byju (verification OTP, probably for Signup)
- Housing (phone number verification OTP)
I avoid installing the apps that I am not confident of, as well as avoid signing up on new websites.
I had been closing pay laters for the past few months, only Simpl was left.
I closed it too just now after getting these SMSs (i know transaction wouldn't proceed with OTP getting actually shared, but even so I felt at ease after closing it).
I don't suppose it's possible to stop such attempts by any anonymous user, but anyone of you are getting these as well recently?
Any apps or website you guys feel where signing up could have started this? It's a long shot for sure, but I signed up on Park+ yesterday.

No, just signed up on 27th night. Park+ shouldn't be the cause, i just shared it as it was the last app i signed up on.
But as other dimers are also facing this, it's possible that some app sold our data or data leak of some sort with them. It's very difficult to find the exact source, i just hope they don't attempt further.
