today my father got a phone call from the grama volunteer of our ward. “an code will be sent to your mobile number. after receiving that, call me again and tell me the code” grama volunteer said.
we know about online frauds, so we avoided to share that code. the 4 digit code came from swach survekshan. i thought they did something by using my dad’s mobile number on swach survekshan’s official website https://secure.mygov.in/mygov-survey/swachh-sur...
i joined to the website by loggin in with gmail and i noticed there are so many tasks are able to complete.
but we don’t know the exact reason why the grama volunteer asked for the code…
we called her and asked the reason for asking code. she simply said “swach bharat”
we scared to share that code because, after sharing the code, we don’t know what task will be done by them. so we disconnect the call without sharing the code.
can we consider it as a suspicious activity?
