What is the difference between Group Health Insurance and Individual/Retail Health Insurance?

I want to buy STAR health insurance policy for my parents and I have below 2 options:

1.) Individual/Retail - from agent: Amounting to rs. 28,000 (approx)

2.) Group - from Bank of India: rs. 12,400

Can anyone pls help me with the advantages & disadvantages of the above 2 policies and which one to opt for.
