Tulsi  poojan  diwas as  per  my knowledge  was  started to  counter useless  Christmas  Tree  cutting  and also  plastic tree decoration  with  maybe  no  significance  benefit  . The  marketing of Christianity  and  Christmas  is leading large scale  Conversion  in many pockets of the country specially  among  tribals , kolis ,other backward and underprivileged  people together with general people  in cities  towns  and even small villages.
