Has anyone claimed term life insurance ?

Planning to take a term life insurance; Did some research and found most decent insurance providers have a claim ratio of ~95%, hence want to know any dimer who (first hand experience or some immediate relative only) has claimed a pure term life insurance ? How hectic was the process and how long it took to successfully claim; how was the experience; also any one whose claim was rejected on what basis; also kindly mention the insured amount.
P.S: Yeah, I know this question itself means that in the first place someone has die to get the term insurance claimed; so kindly ignore the discussion if not comfortable.

Check this thread. It might be helpful to u. However I don’t have personal experience of claim of Term Plan. Usually in Term plan, if u pay for 1st 3 years, after which claim arises, then claim settlement is very smooth in majority of company. Nominee needs to submit documents to local office & amount gets credited usually in 7-10 days.
