The concept of free will and karma is made up, and it's really just a social construct designed to help society. Specifically, free will is utilized in law (as it prevents blaming one's environment for everything) and to attribute responsibility to individuals based on their choices rather than their circumstances. Additionally, humans are complex beings, making it impossible (at least for humans) to predict outcomes with 100% certainty, which is why things can feel random to a certain extent. This randomness is attributed to free will, I suppose.

Karma, on the other hand, is more of a feel-good concept; the universe doesn't magically punish individuals for their actions. However, in human society, there is some truth to the idea that doing good often leads to positive outcomes, while doing bad can result in negative consequences. (It's worth noting that unethical individuals (Capitalist/Polititian) can still succeed in real life.)

Somehow, society often tends to cling to old ways of thinking, which can hinder the generation of new ideas. You have to fight for what is right...(सत्य पराजित होता है जबतक कोई आवाज ना उठाये)

It is not the strongest of the species that survives,
not the most intelligent that survives.
It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.

Well it's actually a thing but not as a Newton's law like every action has an equal and opposite reaction

You get hit back but it depends on what have you done, if you have done something small you will believe in it blindly but if you have done something big then the hit back will won't be a as hard as you think in the first case.

If you are talking about instant karma, then no. Else everything in our lives are governed by laws of karma. It may not all be karma from same life itself.

Everything in this creation is bound by law of Karma. Including those of very high regions like Brahma etc. it's a very long (almost infinitely long) chain. Looking at it in pieces won't give us many clues as why this has happened or not happened to any individual. The goal is to breakaway from the bond of Karma. Good karma can be compared to golden chain on the other hand bad karma is a iron chain. Remember both are chains though, both bind the person.  Breaking away from these fetters is the goal which can be attained by seeing the Truth face to face.

Sharing stanza from a song to describe karma better with translation.

Charrhde suraj dhalde dekhe, bujjhde diive balde dekhe I have seen rising suns go down and flickering lamps light up
Heere daa koi mol naa jaane, khote sikke chalde vekhe No one knows the value of a diamond, but bad pennies remain in circulation
Jinhaan daa naa jag te koi, oh vii puttar palde dekhe I have seen those sons thrive, who have no one in this world
Ussdi rehmat de naal, bande paanii utte chalde dekhe With His/Her Grace, I have watched humans walk on water
Lokii kehnde daal nahin galdii, mein te patthar jalde vekhe People say the pulses remain uncooked (but) I have witnessed stones melting
Jinhaan ne kadar naa kiitii rabb dii, hathh khaali oh malde vekhe Those who do not respect God, I have seen them go empty-handed
Kaii pairaan toh nange phirde, sirr te labhde chhaanvaan Many wander bare-footed, seeking a shade over their heads
Mainuun daataa sabh kuchh dittaa, kyuun naa shukr manaavaan The Lord has given me all, how can I then not express my gratitude

Yes, just today in the other thread where somebody (was it you!) talked about wormholes and I commented on a political figure.

I was given a warning! That was my karma coming 360°!

Happy to see most of you here believe in Karma. This ensures you guys are less likely to fuck with other people purely out of fear of karma.

I personally don't need the fear of karma to be a "nice person". Its my default setting.

And no, there is no such thing as karma. In the grand scale of life, we individual humans and our actions dont matter at all. Everyone will encounter good and bad times in their life, its a measurable probability, no need to name this karma/god/religion

Itna jyada instant hai ki samjho meri karmic body puri bhari hui hai.

Life will hit one hard, specially at the place which hurts that person the most. Karma may not be hitting directly at that person. That’s why it’s said keep yourself in good company or be with good people.  Do good deeds.

Rather the question should be...

If karma is quantified (say -10-0-10) then to what extent you would like to risk your life for self satisfaction?

-10 being Death

0 being natural

10 being fortune.

Everything/Everyone is sold, Karma thing is also only for the common people.

All the leaders are thieves, the public is cursing them, does anything happen? No, but you mess with some street leader and then see what he will do.

So, This whole game is about power and money.
