I have done share transfer from my sister grow account to my brother’s zerodha account but condition should be both have CDSL and cdsl has separate website cdsl easiest login and register and initiate the share transfer. It will charge some minimal amount from giver account. So make some funds in that account otherwise request will not proceed.

let me know if you need youtube tutorials for same

Both the account in your name?

If Yes, then get the CMR and ask for the one-shot transfer of all shares/assets in Demat. Some nominal Flat Fees will be applicable.

If No,

Better sell everything from the source account and buy same in the another account. Transfer fees will be approx 100 Rs. + Tax per script.

Transfer will attract 0.03% or 25 Rs. + 18% GST which ever is higher per script.

Analyze your portfolio and decide 😅

Per script means per share quantity or per share variety?
Ex - if i have 100 share of 3 companies each, so it will br like 25*3 or 25*300?

This 0.03% is standard or vary from broker to broker?

You can gift that stock. I have seen that option in zerodha but never tried. The best part is receiving the party would not be taxed. As it's gifted

This is standard, charged by DP not the broker.
