Havells Lloyd brand AC & service centre exorbitant charges for installation

I am highly frustrated with the quality of Service provided by such a brand Havell’s. Really pissed of a lot.. Made a mistake of buying the Havell’s branded AC.
Havell’s customer care really of no use.
Delivery was on time by Amazon. but after the product is delivered real game starts
- The customer care is Damm pathetic in handling service request. Always try to blame customer even they are well aware with their mistake. Customer care people literally goo goofed multiple stories in order to show that they are working perhaps no action on your service request
- I had wasted my whole day hearing service person is calling you, senior will call you. NOTHING happened. Even the company provided installation time has lapsed. No Action on service request to install AC’s
- Somehow I got the contact no of service centre who are company authorised franchisee who has full power to treat customer in any sense as per there wish. No management
- After lot of I really mean lot of request and plea to service centre, installation guy turned up who didn’t discussed the hidden charges in the beginning but at the end gave a bomb surprised bill. Which is no where close to installation charges (Rs.999+ GST) mentioned over Amazon website .
- I came to know there are many hidden charges on the name of installation like Installation, stand Installation, Welding, Line checking and so many. I being a given amount of Rs.5450 for 2 AC’s (Outdoor unit stands I bought by myself). Ideally as per company norms this comes to Rs.2380 for 2 AC’s. I had Voltas, Samsung AC’s and I never paid these charges since they didn’t charged such nonsense hidden charges. But this Lloyd Havell’s service people will charge heavy amount. I asked the bifurcation of Installation amount which they really failed to explain and on a face saving reply they said, its for placing the indoor unit. All charges are apart.
- The service centre franchise manager showed that he favoured me by installing the AC’s and saying to me “padhna likhna aata hai kya” that company has clearly mentioned about the hidden charges. I don’t see where company has written the amount of hidden charges.
- One thing I git very clearly , in the terms of after sales of Lloyd company will kill customer by charging exorbitant amount.

I was having pre installed the copper line inside..earlier there was an AC's which was uninstalled 1 months back and now I installed..they said we did Welding so charged 600 and line checking if all air flow lines are working fine Rs.1500 for that.
Outdoor unit I bought by myself. no wrapping done. for installing outdoor unit also they were charging Rs.400(only placing on wall), this is named given as stand installation, not a part of whole installation.
Bro so many hidden charges .Amazon showed Rs.999+GST which is acceptable. but they charged me a very exorbitant amount. Ridiculous amount
Lol don't get fooled by installer charges.
999 for installation+ 200 for outdoor stand installation(not for outdoor unit) + any extra pipe/wire. Nothing else.

Poora installation setup krwa liya aur bitha kr kayde se chai pani krwa diya. Fir keh diya ki lo 1000 Rs. aur dubara is mohalle me na dikhna.
Behes krne lge to Chote bhai ne bola ki Bhaiya meri gold ring gayab hai yahi table pr rkhi thi.

Local Havells managers are involved in this whoel scam. Its a Nexus
You should have let them install everything and later fight for the charges. If they are ok with 999+ GST then fine If not you should have ignored them as If you don't know them and let them go back to service center crying.
This is the season to rip customers for installation guys, they will try to find some kissa to charge extra.
I am also panning to purchase Lloyd AC , so should I exclude all the extra services and ask any local guy to install it?

My installation was done next day of the delivery. 1500 is the normal charge and additionally they charged 350 for white tape.
Installation guys were not professional and I asked for demo. He said I recently joined Lloyd so i know installation and don't know about remote functions.
Also warranty was activated and I found the seller was mentioned as LULU. But I bought from amazon only. I asked local installation center team of Lloyd why you did this. She said just keep the invoice. Warrant will be covered.
After few days I was getting continous calls from Havells customer care and asked to give 5 Star rating. I said ok. But she said I will assist you to give rating. I said I will do it myself. I heared she was scolding silently and disconnected the call
Got done by my trusted jeeves(flipkart) local guy .. paid very less / discounted amount .
P.S - LG AC bought from flipkart .
This is the pipe which is available in local retail shop in approx Rs 5/ foot. And HAVELL Lloyd service engg charged me Rs 35/foot.
Below is the charges he charged.
750+750 testing (2ac)
1200+1200 installation
150*4 =600 brizing
Drain pipe =35*10=350/-
40*5=200 rs wire extra
Stand installation =200*2=400
Total =5450/-
Today I had a word with Havell's Lloyd service state head regarding these charges and installtion. he was justifying the charges. It seems whole management is backing up this franchisee service partners in this loot. May be getting the huge commission.
Havells products are worst.. the only reason all electricians insist on gettong Havells products is that they provide highest commision. Stay away from Havells and their sister brand coamnies products
My lloyds ac 2018 non inverter stopped working, the compressor was not turning on.
I made complaint at havells/lloyd website and their technician came and said capacitor needs to be replaced, have to go back and get from company and it will cost 1000/- and 500/- service charge. I doubt he even went back to the company, must have bought from local electrical store.
Later checking on urban company 45uF capacitor cost 500 and service charge 300.
Lesson learnt!!!
I had checked the Havells pricing list available on company website. Itwas clearly mentioned the "messed wire drain pipe" but the the Havells SC bought it from local shop in 3/foot and charged me 35/foot on the name of brand installation.
I was having the same pipe at my place I asked him to use the same he said company has not advised us to use this local branded pipe and what he bought was a cheap quality local to local branded pipe.
Unfortuantely that time, my tenants was handling the instalttion.
If it was me I would have throw slipper on Havells SC people.

Welding & line checking what's that ?
As per my knowledge, u need to have separate working line for each AC already done before they come for installation.
They will come drill hole, install indoor unit, then outdoor on stand [stand to bought by u if not given by company] , connect pipes given by company, if [wrapping done extra charges, as per ur requirement], if extra long pipe then extra charges.
That's all.
Standard installation mentioned in online varies from Rs999 to 1499.
If local also same, not below Rs999.
