Hi All,
I still haven't received Jio Welcome offer. 5G is available in my city, my neighbours got it but I haven't received it yet.
I am using 5G phone (tried on POCO M4 PRO 5G, MI 11T PRO 5G), have a plan of Rs.666 and Rs.119.
I contacted their customer service as well but still didn't get it, expressed interest multiple times.
Can anyone suggest anything about why jio welcome offer not applied?
Okay, did recharge just now from MyJio app. You got 5G upgrade notification in MyJio app after recharge?

Did many times, still not received.
First see banner of of jio welcome offer and click on I'm interested than after 2-3 days you will see banner like below congratulations.
Update your jio app , your device should have latest update,and select 5g network in sim settings .
After doing everything instantly 5g will appear above network sticks.
Now use 5g till your plan ends.
my device is realme gt and location bangalore
5g data packs ends 5 feb
speed is more than 700mbps in speed test but getting 80mbps in downloading.

Gurgaon here, Sahara grace. Using 5g from last 1 month and getting speed between 900-1000mbps. Unlimited trial for 6 months added to my account. iPhone 12 and 13 pro.
Check if there’s any update cause last I remember Samsung announced to push 5g ota for S20FE5G in Jan.
I'm using Mi 11 lite Ne 5G. Receiving this msg from week. Just now checked it and tried to activate.
But in app, at last step it says 'Check your 5G settings'. I have already ticked 'Prefer 5G'.
Any solution?
Mine is same case.. didn't got 5g offer in my mobile while my wife received same in 6gb 84 days plan only. I read somewhere in jio app that users who are max at 5g area will get offer first so I am less likely to get as my work area is not covered under 5g. May be port out request can help as suggested
Here, 2 members in my family has got the Jio True 5G Welcome Offer, but Jio 5G is not available in my area. So, what's the use of the welcome offer activated by the TSP?

5G can't be used via Hotspot? I have noticed whenever I use hotspot, the data gets consumed from 4G pack instead of getting 5G unlimited. Also few URL, apps are showing no internet when 5G is selected in network setting.
I am able to use 5G via hotspot, not sure about websites.

Workaround to get Jio 5G Welcome Offer on your 5G handset.
Background:
1. Your 100% sure your device is 5G (use an Airtel 5G connection SIM).
2. You have 5G in your area working (you have seen other Jio customers use it).
3. You always get an error that your device is not compatible on the MyJio App when you request the "5G welcome offer".
4. Why? MyJio wants to see a supported device / exact model number / base build and has a list of compatible devices that will work on their 5G network. For example, some builds of Oneplus 10R firmware publish as "Oneplus Oneplus 10R", but MyJio wants to see "Oneplus 10R 5G".
Solution
1. Your Jio SIM in a borrowed phone / device from the list of compatible devices supported in MyJio. Your best bet is an iPhone.
2. Do a fresh install an run MyJio. Login with your own SIM Number.
3. Request the "5G welcome offer".
4. You will see "Device compatible and 5G is now active on your number" (this is immediate)
5. Jio has activated 5G on your SIM.
6. Put the SIM back in your own phone and you will see 5G working.
PS: I informed the Jio chat support that another JIO SIM + Airtel SIM worked just fine on my 5G phone, so why isn't my SIM working. They will inform you - "sir your device is not compatible". Dont waste your time.
Try buying that 61 rs 5g top up plan.... same case with my real me gt phone...didn't work for many days... done the charge and got 5g in few mins...!!
