HDFC CREDIT CARD QUERIES AFTER AN OFFER UPGRADE TO MILLENNIA

I've received an upgrade option for a 4 years old LTF moneyback card to Millennia FYF card. I'd accepted it but now there are few concerns as below:
1. How can I make it LTF? customer care told me that the smart pay option is not available as this is an upgraded card not a fresh one. So is it true or CC is not informing me properly?
2. There is no pdf, no document or links shared which states any offer ,just an SMS for link and only mentioned FYF, I applied. Using the same details I couldn't apply a fresh card as the site shows an error after getting details like cell number and PAN. I can  upgrade the card only when the bank shares with me those links through sms or mail. So I chose it.  Tried to make it LTF over a call but CC denied it. What should I do now?
Where can I get those offer terms and conditions, clauses details?
3. 1 Lakh spending criteria for waiver is present but how can I make it fully LTF without any TnC and clauses. Not possible to spend that much yearly using a credit card. I can spend a maximum of 50 K.
4. Is there any better way to earn at least  5K cashback points on the se card in a year so that 1.2K fees should not be a big deal. I know so many people know various ways,so please tell me.
5. What if this card remains FYF and I close it on the 11th month, can I be charged with fees? And will closing this oldest card hamper my credit score?
Moneyback, is the first CC I've received and also has the card from a different bank with  the same age, probably a month lesser. The current Cibil is 820-835, varying from the last 3 months. So after closing an old card how much does it impact the cibil?

For point 4th, I think Millenia gives 5% cashback on Amazon and Flipkart spends, so you can use the card to buy the Amazon gift voucher and Flipkart Gift voucher, using the Amazon and Flipkart website itself and sell it on this forum trading section in some discount.

The normal rate of trading section for AGV is 2-3% and FK GV is 4-5%.

and if you buy Flipkart GV using Flipkart via HDFC Smartbuy, I think the cashback will be even go as high upto 6-7%.

For 2nd point, I don't think you can do anything, just sit back and relax enjoying the card, it's one of the best cards for online shopping on amazon/Flipkart.

Who knows you might get another upgrade/LTF offer within a year.

For 1st point, it looks true, my friend also got the same offer as you. He had moneyback LTF and got millennia FYF, he was very happy to get it, as the cashback rate is very attractive if you do a lot of shopping.

for point 5th, If you close the card in the 11th month, you will not be charged with the fees. And closing the oldest card may decrease some points in credit score, but I believe it won't be much, since you have the same age card as well.

You never know, decreasing the number of debt cards also has a possibility of increasing the credit points.

Can you please share the link or documents where all this is mentioned. After merger of HDFC , all old TnC are updated and effective from 1 Aug 2023. And few are in Sep. For credit card 1 Sep is the date mentioned

For the 3rd point, I don't think it's possible but I heard if you call customer care to raise a request for card cancellation, they sometimes waive off card renewal fees and even make it LTF.
You can even tell them that your last card was LTF and after upgrading it has some fees, and maybe try asking them to downgrade again to LTF moneyback (if you don't have enough use of this card, and think to cancel this card after a year)

Just call CC and request for cancellation. They will offer to make it LTF

😂 if they won't give any offer to make it LTF then will try this.

Also read that CC is straightforwardly accepting card closure request instead of making it free. So tell me the best way to convince them on a call.

I got the same upgrade offer but I'm not gonna upgrade my LTF card to paid one.

force them to give you any spend based lifetime free or smartpay . I also converted my business moneyback to millennia LTF . by forcing them and gave them an excuse that I don’t want to use my cc for business spends anymore

Thanks a lot Bro for the reply and support. It would be a great help if you can share the exact process to force the bank to convert the Millennia card LTF? Share mailing details if needed.
