can anyone tell me what are “Fresh Wallet Charges_Insta Card” in HDFC credit card statement.

I’ve done that already but the reply will take time. So thought of checking here if anyone has seen it.
Basis your request, we had taken up with the appropriate and would like to inform you that there will be wallet loading charges of 2.5% of the load value and the same was mentioned in the Most Important Terms and Conditions and hence Rs.100.00 was levied on your March 2022 statement. We sincerely regret our inability to reverse the aforesaid charges levied on your card account.

I had loaded money in Payzapp, interesting will see what they reply now.
On one hand they want people to use Payzapp but if you add money using HDFC card they are charging.
But this is wrong all wallets show the charges before doing the transaction.
So don’t know if this is charged by merchant or hdfc card in this case.

Ha just checked MIT they have this “For your security, a daily ecommerce (net) limit is placed on the card until the card is delivered to you in person. Furthermore any wallet loading transaction done through the credit card would incur charges of 2.5% of load value”

is this charges added once statement generated or once the payment is settled?
these charges were added after 3-4 days of adding money to wallet.

Is paytm rent payment comes under Hdfc extra & above wallet loading charge of 2.5% ?

chargung over and above the gateway charges ( paytm 2%+gst) for loading money ?
if this is the case then hdfc is making close to 5% on wallet transactions. Thats horrendous

not on debit cards.

It is there on Millenia , don’t know about others
This charge is applied only when you do wallet loading transactions with your virtual card (E-card). Once you get the physical card delivered to your house, there is no charges.
I had the physical card with me when did txn
i’m loading 4k every month. No charges in my cc
