I’m aware the card gives 1% cashback points if it is used to pay credit card throuh HDFC bill pay portal.
I wanted to know if any one tried paying other cards like (HDFC, YesBank) etc through other portals in combination with HDFC card and still got the rewards?
Mobikwik payment will be considered as wallet load, but I see a card payment option in paytm. Any chances if this payment through paytm will be considered as utility?
Just realized, that paytm doesn’t support any card other than a rupay card for card payment. So it boils down to the below point if there are any other services which are worth a shot?
Or are there any other services which can be considered as utility payment?

looks like this is very god method…even if u pay 30k bill then u will earn 300 points.
i think i should surrender my current rupay platinum dc and get visa platinum dc instead.

No charges, minimum points to redeem is 250.
If u have HDFC millennia, load Paytm wallet and pay the credit card bill.. You will get 1% rewards upto 400 for wallet using milennia dc.. All the sbi dc gives 0.25 for ₹100 spent .

No. Only if you use the HDFC billpay system for CC payments using easyshop platinum DC (mastercard/Visa), you will get the 1%. This offer is not available for bill payments on other platforms.

I don’t think so. As per the details on the product page, any transaction which falls under the
mentioned MCC (https://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/pay/cards/deb...) will be elgible for applicable cashback.

Mobikwik does gets you 1% cashback. I have conquered close to 700 points in last 2 months using mobikwik. Paytm doesn't gets you anything.
