HDFC MIllenia Credit Card

Hi all

Recently, I got offer to upgrade my HDFC IOCL LTF Credit card to Millenia credit card (not LTF). The Millenia credit card is just free for 1st year & after that have to spend Rs. 1.00 lac annually for waiver of card fee of Rs. 1000/-+GST.

My annual spends through credit card are around 2.20 - 2.50 lacs. Now I am thinking Millenia is not so beneficial to me in the following scenario :-

  1. Currently owned HDFC IOCL CC (LTF) is used to buy GVs through Smartbuy for LIC/insurance payments etc.
  2. Having Amazon Pay ICICI card with prime a/c for 5% cashback from Amazon.
  3. Having Axis Ace card for 5% cashback on utility bill payments through Gpay. (I spend around 2 lac annually from this card for fee waiver of Rs. 499/-+GST)
  4. Having free Axis Bank IOCL, Myzone CC and ICICI Coral CC.
  5. Having HDFC Millenia Debit card.
  6. I buy Myntra GVs for 15% discount & Flipkart GVs at 5-7% discounts from Trading section of Desidime.

Kindly share your opinions: Is it still beneficial me to close the HDFC LTF CC and get the Millenia credit card?

what about future upgrades to Regalia/Diners black or Infinia, if you don't want these then stick to IOCL LTF

LEs also come with upgrades

If you don't want, don't push through... if you want rupay variant, HDFC IOCL does it, you can request conversion for free...

IMO, ask via email support if they can convert millennia to LTF after upgrade by reaching some milesone, like 50k spend in 6 months, etc. options...

You can get Millennia credit card LTF through C2C basis at branch, as far as I know you can hold two HDFC credit cards, (one core card + one co branded card)

Brother, how can we get millennia card LTF from the branch with C2C ?? Because whenever I go to the branch, they always tell about the fees of the Millennia Credit Card. They never told me that you can get millennia card LTF.

The best option can be getting ur card network converted into rupay

Just call them (on mailing them they told me that they have currently stopped network conversion but on call they did it without any fuss)
However i would have taken millennia

@Swami007 conversion your HDFC IOCL CC (LTF) to RuPay variant and link with UPI (your card remain LTF).

you will get rewards point on UPI spend too.

Tips: pay any other banks credit card bill via Amazon using your RuPay CC link UPI and also get rewards point.

Some accounts are blocked from purchasing GV through CC on amazon... typically regularly going over 10k/month is considered as per reports... @Unknown
