HDFC Millennia is now dead

1) There is no min spent limit to earn cashback, you can spend 100rs on amazon and still get 5rs cashback in a month

2) If you have avg usage of amazon/flipkart and don't have sbi cb cc then millenia is very useful as it gives 5% on all spends on amazon/fk and some other sites too

3) most people have it as ltf
4) It's majorly used to get 5% on az/fk rather than lounge access, so no change in that

Conclusion: Millenia CC is not dead yet

For lounge access. Yes.. 

other than that.. 5% on important ecom sites .. 1% on others and 1k voucher if you hit 1L in a quarter (effectively making it 6% + 2% if you can spend 60k @ 5% + 40k @ 1%)

And most people have it LTF... and if not, hitting the 1L/year milestone is pretty do-able to have the fee waived off.

also, it helps with the HDFC offers which keep coming up often...

Its an entry level card.. its pretty decent for what it is.

Only for devaluation on airport lounge access, one can't say Millennia CC is dead.

Infact, Millennia CC was never ever mentioned for airport lounge access because that's not even the USP of the card.

For lounge access, better to look out for cards like IDFC First Bank Select/Wealth CC. Even HDFC Platinum DC gives domestic airport lounge access (2 per quarter) and the list of accepting airports should be similar.

If one is wanting to use a basic cc like millennia for lounge access, HDFC is right in wanting that user to give them enough transactions to make that freebie worth it. Get some other ccs which gives lounge access easier.

Millennia specialises in giving 5% cashback, it’s doled out LTF most of the times. Now if you are paying yearly fees it’s your fault.

Any knowledgeable CC user will take millennia CC for its 5% feature not that lounge feature, which you are HARPING about.

Nopes Millennia CC is very attractive, at least while it’s still giving 5% for every txns on amazon and more.

If one cant spend 1k also in an year for millenea they should be away everything else is same and good, 5% on fk/amzn is wonderful one
