If Not LTF Then Mail Them Requesting LTF Conversion Because U R Paying Yearly Charges For Both Cards.

just open MyCards website & initiate closure from there. You'll receive 1-2 calls asking the reason but don't budge or expect to change their opinion because it won't help.

Just say there's been no upgrade & I definitely wanna close now. 

Tata neu card will be as shared limit with your moneyback card so thats the reason they told that if you close this then tata neu will be also closed

I also have MB PLUS which I wanna close lol 

complain to RBI, they never mentioned this linking thing in Tataneu HDFC application(did they mention?)

OP nothing said above will work. Last month I wanted to change the statement date of my primary iocl card. Customer Care said same that both cards are linked together and changing statement date of 1 card will also change statement date of another card. I escalated this to grievance redressal but all in vein as the rep said that this is how the system is designed and no manual intervention is possible.

I was also told by email team that if i close my paytm credit card (primary) then tataneu plus and swiggy card  will not work. But i closed one by one all of them  and took moneyback+ (via paytm app) millennia (upgraded tataneu plus via email) and tateneu infinity( via tataneu app) in same week...
