My HDFC Bank savings account was opened as a salary account and I got Easyshop Platinum DC along with the kit. Today I received the same Easyshop Platinum DC as my current DC is expiring in December 2022.
I've been Preferred banking customer for a few years now, shouldn't I get Preferred Platinum DC instead of Easyshop Platnium DC ??
Also, how and where do I raise this issue? I talked to my RM and he knows nothing about this.

Its same as easyshop debit card. I also got the same card. For credit card bill payment cashback it is working no issues at all

Yes, else you can apply for card upgrade multiple times, and enjoy multiple debit card (for cashback & lounge access)

Does it make a difference which platinum debit card one have? They have 4 types of platinum cards (imperia, preferred, classic and normal) which says which banking program the customers are in. From HDFC website, features wise they all are same.

Earlier I had a notion that there's a difference in coverage of accidental coverage but I found the coverage amount to be same across all the variants.

Out of these, I'm sure that for Bank of Baroda credit card, you don't have the option to pay via debit card and hence no 1% cashback.

Regarding platinum or millenia it all depends on the usage.
For platinum there is 1 percent cashback upto 700 on bill pay.It can be used for credit card bill payment.

@Aravind_18 I currently have easy shop platinum card, the only transaction I do using the debit card are on mobikwik credit card bill payment of 50-60k, just now I checked and there was a cashback 1.0 percent cashback points of 650, while checking in the statement I see payment on credit card using mobikwik are mentioned as POS XXXX mobikiwk and not wallet load transaction. To conclude, it seems like I am already getting 1 percent cashback while paying credit card bills using mobikwik. Even on the HDFC website it's mentioned that for both non preferred and preferred we would get 1 percent cashback. please correct me if my understanding is wrong, as i don't see any difference between both??
