Hdfc refunded excess cc payment to savings account

I have some emis running on my hdfc cc. I think i paid some extra amount last mnth so the bill i got was minus 9k
Hdfc today refunded the same to my savings account. Is that normal?

I thought this is new normal. I had received the additional payment credited to saving account linked to credit card about 2 months back
Axis and HDFC do refund to savings account.
Condition is the bill due must be negative amount.

yea thats what I was thinking too 
They usually do that for excess payments by mistake or so upon request. But again there are limits like max 1 or 2 times per year…or something like that…
Please don’t make it a scheme.
Thats ok….Mistakes can happen with big amount as well
another loophole smelled and somebody is going to suffer badly for greed.. 
This is not a loophole even you can call cc and he/she/trg will refund the amount to your savings account I done it many times but after bill generation
