I have got the option to upgrade from Millennia LTF to Regalia gold FYF. My Millennia card current limit is 4.4L. My end goal is to get Diners black or Infinia in the long run. Is Regalia Gold the 3rd most premium card of HDFC after Infinia and Diners? Or is it some other card? Will taking Regalia gold bring me closer to getting Upgrade option for Diners black card?

Increasing limit rather than upgrading card would get you closer to those 2 high end cards.
Sister went directly from Women Solitaire card to Infinia while Brother in Law got Infinia as direct upgrade from Moneyback+.
However, you would have higher rate of reward and better perks and redemption offers for international travel with Regalia Gold.
Some would rather stay with Millenia CC though so it all depends on what perks you prefer and where you spend the most to make the best out of the card(s) on the table.
Got it. This is helpful. I usually spend 30k on domestic flights in a year and my yearly spend on HDFC card is around 4-5 lakhs. I will check how does the point redemption work for domestic flights. If I find it useful I will upgrade it otherwise I will stick with Millennia.
Millennia is far better than the Regalia Gold in terms of online shopping cashback and rewards
Secondly, I don't think taking regalia will get to closer to Diners, I have been using Regalia business for the last 4-5 years without any card upgrade option, only limit enhancement is offered to me.
