Today i converted my visa signature regalia to rupay LTF, I know I am too late to the party, but I did this because I heard we can get reward points on every UPI transactions and that can be used for booking movie tickets.
My question:-
How can I best use my regalia rupay Card to get good reward points. Kindly share some tips and tricks how do you guys use it in best way.
What are benefits of rupay select.
I am losing visa signature movie offer on bookmyshow 50 percent off on movie max 300. What will I get with rupay select in movies.
Do we get reward point on every UPI transaction , say suppose I pay to my mom Google pay??
Or is it only payment to merchants??
Do merchants also have a category in UPI such as MCC in card merchants??

You can also complete your Regalia milestone benefit using UPI transaction.
HDFC sometimes also give you UPI spend based gift voucher offer.

There is apparently a 500 reward points per statement cap on HDFC card on upi as far as I know. To get 500 reward points, you need to spend, 125 * rupees 150 s

I added hdfc rupay upi credit card which is virtual. But not finding it much useful as i am not able to pay even in some petrol pump, local shops. Most of the big merchant cases i can use the other good CC itself.

hdfc rupay upi credit card also eligible on HDFC bank sales discount offers, you can use there.
And wait 2 years, NPCI is creating Credit on UPI network, after few years many merchants will onboard.

I guess Regalia GOLD is still not available on the RUPAY network.

You are shortchanged there.
I also switched to regalia rupay but from mastercard.
The reward on rupay is good till spends around 18750 rupees, no rewards on upi after that.
Also you won't get rewards for less than 150 as it is card feature .
You can't transfer to people, can pay businesses, businesses can turn off credit card payment on the QR, which has increased nowadays.
