HDFC Tata Neu Plus Query

Hi, I was trying to apply Tata Neu Infinity but getting Tata Neu Plus option, so applied it anyway as looking for Rupay Card, already have Millenia with 2L Limit.
I received an email, you're already holding another card with us so we're putting your application on hold, then I received a call from branch they said we will provide you card, the existing card limit should be 1 Lakh that's only requirement, online process isn't possible.
I asked for Infinity but they said Neu Plus is possible.
The question is, will this card converted to LTF then later Tata Neu Infinity?

Hard to say, not seen anyone get an upgrade. My 7 friends hold neu plus card with period varying from 7 months to 9 months.
