How did u get this card? Paid or LTF? U have only 1 card from hdfc or more?
Customer care says this card is discontinued. My RM is ready to give, but not LTF.
Sharing my experience with the redemption of rewards points on the HDFC TIMES Platinum Credit Card.
The validity of these rewards points is 2 years (compared to 3 years for Infinia/DCB). Unfortunately, you cannot redeem them directly for Hotel/Flight bookings on SmartBuy like you can for Infinia/DCB.
I had nearly 24000 Rewards Points expiring in 60 days.
To redeem, you login to NetBanking > Cards > Enquire > Redeem Reward Points > Select your Credit Card > Continue. It will open a new window.
You have options to redeem for -
1. Cash - 1RP = 15p
2. Product Catalog - 1RP = 15p-25p depending on the item you choose, typically. The catalog is quite big and you may possibly find a higher value on some products.
3. Insta Vouchers 1RP =
a) 28p for Pizza Hut
b) 25p for PVR
c) 22.7p for BookMyShow
d) 20.8p for Uber (No OLA), Dominos
e) 17.8p for Myntra, Zomato, Swiggy
f) 15p for Amazon Pay/Flipkart/Croma vouchers. Yes, the value is same as cash redemption making this a useless option
There are many more vouchers but I listed the most popular ones in my opinion.
4. InterMiles
1RP = 0.2 Miles. Since each mile is at best 30p, 1RP = 6p effectively making it one of the worst options
There is a Rs 99 redemption fee as well. So, redeem as many points at one go to minimize the effect of that redemption fee.

Bro got it back in mid-2019. He is a long time HDFC Savings Account holder. It is paid (Rs 1000 + GST).
HDFC has this problem of showing cards on their website that are discontinued. I asked my RM for HDFC Bharat RuPay Credit Card earlier this year (I didn't have a HDFC CC back then) and she laughed stating that it had been discontinued years ago. Yet on DD people have posted that they have got this card even this year but mostly in non-Metro locations.

and ask them to upgrade your card to Millennia.
Within a week, your card will be upgraded and your points will be converted to Millennia with a fresh validity.
Furthermore, the reward structure of Millennia is pretty good compared to other HDFC cards.
RohitJain1 wrote:While the rewards points structure is bad, by no means I meant to say that I want to replace this card with something else. My primary use of this card is movies via BookMyShow. I do around 50 movies a year in the theatres, a lot of them alone, and this is the only card I know that gives 50% off even on a single ticket. Other cards insist on minimum 2 tickets.Send an email to HDFC Bank at the following mail id's :
