Can you recommend one with quality mic which is light on ears.

daily 4-5 hours office call on Laptop…

Bluetooth is disabled so I am looking for wired only (single pin or USB)
but if there is combo functionality bluetooth + wired, that will be good.

Hi,
I used to use Boat headset 225 if I am not wrong.
They were good, but stopped working.
I went to Bluetooth headset for few days, currently using cheap Boult wired headset which I got in some offer.

I would recommend JBL some T series may be T160, my friend used to use it. And his voice was really good in office calls.
I recently saw some commercial mic from JBL, JBL CSLM20, No first hand experience, check reviews.
I dont know any Bluetooth headset under 1500 with wired + wireless function.
If you can get original Apple wired 3.5 jack headset..
Then nothing can beat it.

For wired + wireless buy wireless one with aux support and buy aux cable if it is not provided

There are some models from Boat but reviews say that mic won’t work with aux confused

If it’s for calling in Skype, Teams etc I would recommend the Plantronics Blackwire 3220. I use it (given by my employer) and it’s excellent for long hours, has good noise cancellation and has a switch remote to mute, answer, volume control

I guess Plantronics is the best for calling and all firms do have their headset.
If OP can get this then your problem will be solved.

Since your budget is 1.5k i won’t suggest you earbuds.
