Health Tips For Winter
Q) What's the best place to visit during winter? by @Rosh_0007 and Sarcastic bhai
Universal answer is bed ke upar and rajai ke niche (On top of bed and beneath the cover of a blanket). At least that's what I think and a lot of people think. And because of fear of cold temperature we tend to decrease the intake of water. And since the weather becomes chilly we rarely step out of house that too when we have to. Water feels like a sharp blade in cold places of India. So, regular saaf safai takes a backseat as well. In winter weather becomes very dry and dusty.
So, we suffer from.
- Viral, Fungal and bacterial Infections
-
Cracked Lips, heals and chapped skins
- Constipation
- Sickness
- Seasonal affective disorder (SAD)
Solution
- Change the bedsheet and keep em clean. Wash clothes regularly and sun dry em. Keep the house well ventilated.
- Oils, petroleum jelly will help to keep lips and heals hydrated. Boroline is a good antiseptic, gentle on skin cream. I use boroline on cracked heals.
- Keep two 1.2 lt water bottles. And finish at least 4 bottles of water every day. Water is an important thermoregulator of our body. That will make you pee more. And you have to walk to your bathroom, probably every hour. You will not sit in a stationary place. 🐒 So, blood circulation will be improved. So, it will help you with your bowel movements.
- Yoga and Pranayam can alleviate a lot of health issues. Those are not substitute to exercises. But they are the best in their own game. 🙂
- In winter seasons we have a lot of seasonal vegetables and fruits. Have em. Have whatever is affordable. But have em. You will have your necessary intake of dietary fiber. And it will/might alleviate constipation.
- Try to take your bathes regularly. Cold water immersion causes peripheral vasoconstriction that results in a central pooling of blood, followed by peripheral vasodilation immediately after emerging from the cold water. This mechanism may improve the rate at which muscles become reoxygenated.
- Take your regular dose of exercises everyday. It will help your circulation. Your body will release toxins via sweating. So, you will be least likely to fall ill. Even if you fall ill, you might have a better chance at recovering faster.
- Go out and take your daily dose of sunshine. And it will help you lift up your mood. It might help you through Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) if you are affected.
- Wear a mask for dusty outside weather.
- Don't forget to use a good quality pair of UV blocking eye glasses and suncreen.
- Brush your teeth properly, floss daily.

Today it's so cold guys. Its almost 3 pm and I am shivering despite wearing thermal and sweater 🥶🥶
What a severe coldwave is going on 🥶🥶🥶 This is a test!
Been eating green chilly pickle, Rewdi, and Moongfali to draw warmth from the inside.
@bikidas2060 What is the correct way of having Mulethi? I bought small sticks of it for 10₹. Washed one under running water, and then chewing it slowly for an hour, or untill it becomes soft pulp which I later spit out. Okay?
No idea bhai. 🙂
