Heard about Journey Upgradation but what is this?

Yes Roz ki kahani hai passengers ko chuna lagane ki everything is messed up this 3E coach is very suffocating people keep touching rubbing bruising your body due to lack of space

Maybe due to a technical issue they replaced 3AC coach with 3AC economy.

You can apply for a refund of the fare difference.

It's like downgrade from millenia to money back and call it upgrade

The only difference between 3E & 3A coaches is the number of berths.In 3A class there are 8 berths (6 berths + 2 side berths) while in 3E class there are 9 berths (6 berths + 3 side berths),in each compartment.

well I had 3E but everybody else around me had 3AC so maybe same not sure, coach was also same as 3AC

In case of e-tickets booked in AC 3-tier are re-allotted in AC 3-tier economy, the difference of fare between AC 3-tier and AC 3-tier economy shall be automatically processed by IRCTC. If passenger does not want to travel in re-allotted lower class then he/she is eligible to get full refund by cancellation of ticket upto second charting of the train, or he/she can also file TDR upto 3 hours after actual departure time of the train. Passengers are requested to check their PNR status after first charting of the train and check for any SMS alerts sent by Indian Railways.

If they have a high rush in 3AC then allot the berth in 3E to waiting passengers, they may happily travel in that jail. What is this idio©y of changing the booking of confirmed ticket passengers of 3AC class.
