Duo card will be better...Platinum & Platinum Aura Edge are crap cards...Most IndusInd cards are crap anyways...I have Legend LTF but I hardly use it because of no offers...Got it as an upgrade over Aura Edge...

Duo is useless. 😒😒 One card has both debit card n credit card. It is like "one ring to rule em all, one ring to bind em...." Dangerous affair.
Take the NEXXT card. Auro Edge will suit you if you buy groceries a lot. NEXXT is good if you plan watch movies as it has movie ticket offer.

You won't be able to book movies on indusind cards, every time quota will be exhausted

Accha! So that's how people see pre-approved offers in IndusInd. I am holding IndusInd Exclusive account since Oct 2022 and maintaining upwards of 1 lakh balance despite that account having a 0 balance special waiver. Also sometimes 2 lakh+ balance. Yet no pre-approved offer for me.
Also the two times I applied for CC - once on C2C basis using my SBI CC with 1.7L limit and 2nd time on basis of CIBIL, it was instantly rejected without giving any reason whatsoever. (Apparently holding 14 CCs from 11 banks with total CL of 13 lakhs doesn't help for IndusInd).
@romilq tell me what you did to get pre-approved offer? Have savings account? How old? What type of account? Do you maintain MAB?

I opened zero balance Indus Delite account in October or November last year with initial funding of 10590 where 590 is for debit card. I don’t maintain much MAB. Maybe just around 2k-5k MAB since account was opened. Last month started getting 198k preapproved loan offer. This month got preapproved cc offer. I don’t maintain MAB but have done transactions worth 7-8 lakhs through debit card in these 5-6 months since the accident was opened. I transfer from my main ICICI account to Indusind just before doing transaction. So never maintained anything as MAB. Also mine 4 applications were rejected till now. Two through Paisabazaar and two on Indusind site instantly. Last rejection being in this January. Today it was instantly approved and I got approval mail and sms as soon as I selected card and pressed ok.

😄Nice typo.
I see. So maybe doing debit card transactions helped.
Jab reject hua 4 baar tab ye accident hi laga tha. Par ab jab pre approved milke approval bhi aa gaya to lag raha hai sahi accident tha 😂 Anyways yea debit card transactions and net banking transactions probably helped. Since I didn’t keep any MAB.

Or rather, IF pre-approved offer comes within 3 months of last declined date, should we take it or it will be instantly denied due to cooldown period not enough ?I opened zero balance Indus Delite account in October or November last year with initial funding of 10590 where 590 is for debit card. I don’t think there’s any cooldown period. My last rejection was on January 8th this year and on 17th of March few days ago I got pre-approved offer which was instantly approved when I selected the card and submitted the application.

Oh that's good to know. There is definitely a cooldown period of 3 months but that only applies (as we learn from your case) if one applies for a CC on their own and it's declined. Just like HDFC Bank, if there's a pre-approved offer, you can get the CC any time.

Since there was no update after I got instant approval message from IndusInd bank, today I emailed the priority credit card support with the reference number to inquire about the status. They replied that it has been rejected. So I called phone support and inquired with Twitter support too. Both said it is approved. I again emailed the priority credit card support to recheck the status and told them about what phone and Twitter support told me, again they copy-pasted the same rejection email citing internal parameters. It seems email support that too of priority credit card department is full of dumbass clowns. They don't even properly check your reference number and keep copy-pasting same replies even when you appeal to re-check. I just got the dispatched email with tracking id.

some1anywhere wrote:You are right. I have such an experience with almost all banks. They don't even read the question properly. Even if they read they do not understand it. Last week I emailed AU bank to see if they can upgrade my card variant and I specifically mentioned the card that I wanted. The guy replied with steps to apply for a limit increase. Similar experience with all banks. After the first reply I have to ask them always to properly read the issue again and then answer.
After years of dealing with clueless morons, I have come to realize that ALMOST all customer care inalmostall the banks is full of dumb clowns who don't deserve the job, can't even communicate properly in correct English, and send copy-paste replies. Dealing with such idiots is very painful.
some1anywhere wrote:Actually once in a while, you do get some really good knowledgeable folks in customer care... So now, I simply call cc, and within a minute of talking I get to know if the guy is capable of understanding/working out the issue or not; If not, just disconnect, no need to spend efforts in explaining the issue; and try with a different cc guy... Also, if approached via Twitter, the cc guys who call back generally tend to be more knowledgeable and already have the context, so resolving it becomes easy... for mails, always prefer putting all the customer mails id (cc/head/no/pno/ceo) in the bcc, so that they all can reply/resolve individually...
