My icici savings account is frozen by bank . When talking to customer care they are not providing any reason for the same and asking me to go to nearest branch. I believe that it may have got frozen due to multiple transactions done on the account and it may have crossed some limit.
Due to wfh I am working from my hometown in maharashtra which is around 500 km far frok my base branch . I went to nearest icici branch they are asking me to go to base branch .
What can be done in nearest situation . As my base branch is not near my location I am trying to avoid going there.
Also there is 1 more issue . I did 1 rental transaction on my account through nobroker 3 days before .
I didnt realize that account was frozen at that time . Now money is yet to be credited with the account and nobroker is saying that they have done the transaction successfully.
For any reversal they(nobroker) are asking me the email id of the bank.
I am not sure which email should I provide to them

If you can still login to the iMobile app, then change the branch using the same. It's instant.

Open imobile and transfer your account to your local branch.. Contact customer care (toll free and faster than any other bank) if not satisfied with the resolution approach the local branch
