Help needed paytm - kyc migrated from old account to new and lost all data

After migration, I lost all my cashback points, digital gold the account had, all gift cards purchased.

Contacted support they said they had to delete both old+new account before migration and then migrated all data from old account to new. Hence all the existing data from the account is gone.

Please suggest my options? I had around 2.2L cashback points, 30k worth of digital gold around 35-40k worth of Gv

PS - For gv had received backup on emails so atleast that's there

No, from first number (full kyc) to second number (no/mini kyc)

It means... Full KYC shifted from x number to y number as aadhar/Pan can be used only once for Full KYC. I have issue in shifting KYC as I don't have old number.

Visit safegold.com and register as a Customer. There you can see all your transaction of digital gold purchased from Airtel/Freecharge etc. If Paytm had tieup with Safegold, then you can see the Gold Balance and transact them as per your wish.

I recently went through this hectic process. My old number has the KYC and i don't have access to it. My new account with New Number doesn't have KYC.

Transfer of KYC is not possible

They will close your new account permanently and bring back the old account from the dead and update the old account with new mobile number.

In this process you lose everything linked to new account. So, they ask you to transfer everything linked to it and give Consent for this process.

This whole process took me 2 weeks on their 24x7 section.

You should have cleared everything on new number as your mobile number will now be linked to your old account. Refer to the previous post in this thread.

But In My Case, Kyc Transfer To New Mobile Number, Received All Paytm Wallet Money , CashBack Points To New Phone Number...

All Old Data Including Transaction History , Paytm Chat Etc Received On New Mobile Number...

I Did Not Delete Old Account Or Deactivated During Migrate... Thats It. After Kyc Transfer Old Account Deleted Immediately.

Customer care agent told me that it can't be done for me.
It might be because i haven't used the previous account in the past 12 months and there is some RBI rule regarding this 12 month rule. Not entirely sure.

If nothing works out register a complaint with the RBI Ombudsman failing which the first level consumer court.

How they update old account number without access to that number? Even I don't remember that old number but it says that my aadhar card is linked to some other number.. is there any solution?

I clarified with the executive too on call since my old number has some 10-20rs gold they gave me 3 calls to either move out or gave consent I gave consent and that's it. Not a word of backing up of the new account he only said kyc will be transferd as in with balance nothing will be done to existing account..

Your problem is exactly as mine. Aadhar was linked with previous number and no transactions were done in past 1year. So, they can't delink aadhar from old account.

You will have to move in with your new number into that old account in which KYC was done.

The agent told me also that once it is done, you won't be able to recover the new account and anything associated with it.

So, i don't know much about how to recover that lost account.
Good luck

Yeah looks like I'm currently at the misery of the paytm, they won't reply for 2-3days, can't reach them by calls. I'm making my mind that the gold will most probably be lost. Tried the safeguard account creation too but I don't see anything there

update - Received final word from paytm nothing can be done here. Since I gave my consent for kyc migration. All old data/balances/acc statements is lost forever
