I received this mail today…. I gave the address of my rented accommodation for my card delivery…… Now hdfc is asking this….

If I don’t provide my rented accommodation address proof.. As I only have rental agreement….. And provide my bank address proof…. Will they process the application further and deliver the card on bank communication address or will they reject the application….

I think for HDFC CCs (excluding pre-approved via savings account), Aadhaar address as communication address is mandatory and they are not accepting any other proofs (Rental agreement/Power bill)

So If I send them the aadhar photocopy with form… As bank communication address is also same… Willl they process my application further…. As while applying I gave my rental adress as communication address….??

They should!
But you need to be present at that address right for Physical kyc & Address verification? (if any*)

I think it was pre approved…. As no documentation was asked in online application…… The application went through… Without submitting any document ….. Like income proof….. Does hdfc do….physical aadhar kyc like sbi does…???

If it is pre-approved, then contact bank and ask them to change communication address in the card application to the Bank/Aadhaar one? They only have problem with the new communication address and they’re demanding one official document with the same address.

i’ve pre-approved offer in my netbanking, but when i try to apply using that link, it says either you are already hdfc credit card user or you have already applied and with the option of checking status. If i check status, it says no record.

customer care is useless, asked me to wait and after about 20 days, asked me to visit branch sad
