Already statement generated with full payment not an emi converted payment

For example if you made a purchase of 10k Dr. There will be credit of 10k Cr. too

Sbi credit reward pts instantly whether emi or not.

Open sbi card app, open menu - benefits -- flexipay. Convert that amount into flexipay. Your amount will converted into emi.

Not true, they never give reward points for any transaction as long as they are not settled & it takes at least 2-3 days for any transaction status to change to settled in sbi cards.

Something is definitely wrong here, contact cc as suggested above & preferably call them too.

So you want reward pts even before it starts showing up in unbilled txns?

You said reward points come instantly which can be mistaken for by someone as getting reward points on the same day as transaction. SBI cards give reward points as soon as transaction is settled(which takes 2-5 days), billed or unbilled comes later.

Any charges if you convert to flexipay?

Flexipay is option for emi, you have to pay interest on that amount which you want to convert. But when you opted for emi in amazon I think you already got discount equal to interest amount.

Yes I have made emi through Amazon but still it hasn’t been converted

Don’t convert to flexipay without clearing status of amazon emi because flexipay will neither give you reward points nor any amazon emi benefits.

little off topic: do sbi send txn alert over email ?

I have done couple of transactions on my new card but did not receive any transaction alert email.

I do get transaction alert email but not for all transactions. The min transaction amt I got the alert for was ~2600.

strange…as most of the other banks send alerts even for 1 re transaction.

and irony is SBI send every OTP on email.

I do get sms alert for even Rs.1 wallet load on sbi card. I guess sbi card email alert system is just different from other cards.

yes, its so different that sometimes i receive different otp on sms/email.

I actually never check email, only sms when it comes to otp.

First of all it debited 20270 and then added. Added message was “merchant credit emi booked”
Then after 5 days its debited 20270 message was “transfer to merchant emi”

Yes, that’s right! Credit booked against the purchase but the next debit is for blocking limit against emiti.
