1. What should be the itinerary for a 3 day trip. I am planning to first visit Dwarka and after that visit somnath via porbandar.
2. Can we get self driving cars in Dwarka or in Somnath (offline or online)?

Thanks for the details. I have heard this too that self driven cars are available only from Ahmedabad and Rajkot only. Will have to plan accordingly as it gives more flexibility than rental cabs
It will be far if you go from Ahmedabad as dwarka is around 400 km from Ahmedabad.
Better you should use trains:
1. Delhi to Ahmedabad flight and visit Ahmedabad
Move to somnath in night train at 10 pm which drop u somnath at 7 am
2. Visit somnath, taxi will charge around 700-800 for somnath and other place darshan
Move to dwarka in night train at 11 pm
3. Reach okha at 7 am.. get refesh and go to byte dwarka using ferry as it is near first ( or u can drop at dwarka and hire taxi for okha which is 30 km away for byte dwarka)
After that you can hire a taxi which can take u to nageshwar and then other places and then dwarka
You can take night train Back to Ahmedabad 1 am which drops u Ahmedabad at 8 am
Take a flight back to delhi
Hi I am travelling from lucknow and my train would be arriving around 10 pm...couldn't find any trains from Ahmedabad to somnath on irctc
Day 1 - you can cover most tourist places like Okha port, Dwarkadhish and Nageshwar Jyotirlinga temple in a single day.
Day 2 - Travel to Somnath via Porbandar, explore Porbandar and Jambavan caves (on a route to Somnath) and visit Somnath temple in the evening for a laser show.
Day 3 - Explore Somnath and Gir National Park (which is around 50 kms from Somnath)
Self-driving cars are available in major cities in Gujarat, take a private cab or bus/train to move between these cities.
Day 1 - Dwarka, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga (on the way to Somnath)
Day 2 - Somnath
Day 3 - Diu
You can go via Ahmedabad or Rajkot
Self driving car will be available in Ahmedabad. Better to get cab.
