Hello all
I have registered my restaurant with Swiggy. They have blocked my payout and not allowing it to be transferred it to my account. They are claiming that i have made self order abuse . I requested them to provide me proof for the abuse , also how it is related to payment of all orders.
But they aren't replying to me in mail not attending call and no reply on twitter.
Please help what to do

I wrote a tweet on twitter they are saying they have escalated. From last last month they have just escalated the issue.
They charge 24% commission and+ 7.5% extra charges
If i order myself I'll pay this much commission to them first and discount my money.

I have this doubt about some restaurants in my city..now it's cleared..
Can't give 1star for those restaurants food quality and ambiance .if you visit those restaurants one time..you never step in those restaurants again in your entire life.. but in swiggy their ratings are 3.9, 4, 4.2..

Yes those restaurant are their in our city too. But my purpose was to just uplift my restaurant online . I wad only selling dryfruits there and that too limited products I just wanted people to know my name because I WFH so i don't have offline shop. Also no profit margin I kept because 31% already was going to swiggy

Main issue is that
I asked them where did i accepted this condition as a partner that you can block my amount like this. They must show a proof or legal documents which we have mutually agreed upon .
Also their support is just the worst i have experienced they are asking the otp for confirming that I'm owner. And.on otp page it written that don't share otp . But forcefully you have to give otp otherwise they hang the phone

All companies are worried about what you post on their Twitter or other social media page but here their full page is filled with this type of issues only. O called National consumer helpline they said it comes under commercial purpose you have to file complaint offline by going to court.

I have heard this long ago..both swiggy and Zomato does this quite often..they did this with big restaurants and get away without paying..that too in lakhs..

Even with self order, why should they block the payout amount? They can at best deplatform (debatable) the restaurant, swiggy acting like a goon.

if you have the copy of the contract, just send them a legal notice to their mentioned address. i know spending on a lawyer may not be feaseable for rs.5000 but you can demand reimbursement of that as well in the notice and get it done by any new advocate.

I don't have copy sir that's what I'm asking from them. That if i have breached the contract take my 5k and I'll learn a lesson, but this "dadagiri" response is hurting me more.

May be they tracked something like location and if large amount of order delivered to nearest to restaurant location they may block.

Damn, they have such attitude even towards restaurants (which are like raw materials of their business) same dadagiri attitude towards delivery partners & customers.
Now, I understand why Swiggy is keeping their feet in varies businesses these days maybe they are quite sure now too that this food delivery business ain't going to bring them any profitability & may go down the line as the time passes.
Me too don't order much from both Zomato & Swiggy until & unless they provide some really lucrative offer like free delivery + 60% off + ₹30 cashback (If you dont use their service for 6 months
). Stopped ordering just cause of their shitty attitude, always preferred to buy directly from restaurant whenever needed.
