Hi guys here I am posting the best and cheapest way to get the Tatasky Dth from my experience. Similar method can be used for other dth like Airtel etc also.
As I recently upgraded from Den cable to Dth and I was confused where to buy connection form with so many options Amazon, flipkart or komparify which was giving much cheaper comparatively.
But here is how I bought and I think is the cheapest anyone can get in the market.
All you have to do is to go to the Olx and look for Tatasky dth new connection advertisement you can look for Airtel or any other Dth also but I didn’t tried them. Most of them are offering Hd box with 1 month FTA pack at ₹1154 (₹999 for hd box and ₹153 for FTA pack).
Best part the connection will be done on same day within 3-4 hours and you can pay after the connection.
They book through Tatasky only so you don’t have to worry. Payment also needs to be done once connection is done.
Official Tatasky technician will only come and you have to pay then only by any payment method like Paytm, upi etc to olx dealer directly.
You can get it more cheaper by ₹100. All you have to do is once Tatasky technician ask to activate the box instead of paying to that olx dealer recharge yourself with ₹1154 you will get around ₹250 balance instead of ₹153 if done by olx dealer. We discovered this non-intentonally when we were left with this option only. You can consider this or may be not as it doesn’t seems right.
Try later method at your own risk as I don’t gurnatee about the second method if any issues comes up.
* installation is free but Cable is free upto 10 meter length after that you have to pay for extra cable approx ₹14/meter length.

i was also able to book via olx in 2 june 2020. Person came in 2-3 hours. Took 1154 rs, activated for one month FTA Telugu.
First 30 Days all channels in india are free on tata sky app for that box ID. next month i have recharged using online apps/portals.

But when we booked again for my friend the technicians came very late at night and olx dealer didn’t picked the call after numerous trying so the technicians asked to do the recharge yourself.

So I think anyone can do the same but booking through them and then denying to take service from them doesn’t seems right for mere ₹100. We had no other options except to recharge ourselves.

Yup I have a same experience. Booked tatasky hd box online the technician came and said cancel the order. You are paying 1900rs for HDbox+1month hd premium pack, I will give you the same at 1400rs. Did the same cancel the order and asked him to install, DTH working fine no problem at all. So my experience is sometimes offline also give us better deals.

those 599 wala some of them recently created accounts
how do they get so many numbers to create new accounts on OLX even if they are removed as suspicious users by OLX team

Does 999 price is for just set top box only.? Or does it include dish antenna lnb cable also.? I called the numbers on olx and they are quoting 1550 for the same (for antenna dish including) and in 999 only set top box
