How reliable is the jump in customer base?

There are guys with 30+ cards. Average user has more than 4. You see guys asking which card is best for a particular spend.

Yesterday alone, a guy asked about credit card for travel spends, one for tax payments, another for nps, another for fuel.

People keep collecting credit cards like Pokémon.  Not all cards gets used.

Article must mention jump in profit due to issuance in abundance. And this jump in profit surpasses default which i am sure they gonna tell in Balance sheets only.

Sohom (name changed) when he got his first credit card.

“This was after I passed out of college and went to Mumbai for work. Sustenance in the megacity was tough with my meagre income. I was offered a credit card along with the new salary account,” he told IndiaToday.in.

Soham used his credit card to fund his gym expenses and even bought a new iPhone.

This guy was struggling to feed* himself in a big city. Yet he decided to buy an iPhone.

And gym expenses(Read: expensive protein powders and athleisure wear)

Sorry if this triggers some gym bros. I'm talking about this guys ability to afford them not the efficacy of using them or gym culture.

*(the word sustenance is commonly used to describe food).
