Hot Deal Reality of Amazon Quiz and Lucky Draw : A well planned Scam

I have been playing Amazon quiz and lucky draws from a while now, 3 years to be exact and guess what? Never won anything more than uber coupons and Rs 5 Guarented Amazon pay cash.

A while ago I saw something was off in the winners page. There were winners with no names popping up here and then. Yes you saw it right, winners with no names and there were also same name winners popping up evey day.

As curiosity got the better of me, I started looking for the winners’ names on LinkedIn as I thought it would be the best platform to investigate the truth.

I contacted a few of them but to no avail, all of them either ignored me when I asked them about Amazon quiz or straight up denied that they don’t know what Amazon quiz is.

Then I called their customer service and asked them how their quizes work and as usual they gave me a scripted reply but here’s the bummer.  I told them that, I know one of your executives who happen to be one of my friends and he have won in one of your quizes. (My statement was obviously a lie.)

And then I asked how he won in such quizes when it’s clearly mentioned that people working at Amazon or their family members can’t participate in such offers.

At that very moment, the customer care executive said that he (my friend) lied to me and he isn’t an Amazon executive as he can’t participate in their quizes. Later he tried to convince me that it doesn’t happen and our system is free from such haphazards.

There are some conclusions I drew from this.

1. The Amazon insiders do have some hand in this and it’s pretty obvious. The quiz and draws aren’t 100% customer friendly.

2.  We, customers do win some prizes and it’s not like they take everything. I’m saying this because I have seen people winning here and mentioning in posts.

3. The results or winners declaration methods are done by those insiders with their own motive and way of declaring. There’s no clarity in this.

4. Lack of support from Amazon in this. I mean the Amazon we know shouldn’t be the Amazon we want to know. Again, the Amazon we know is only a middle man organization owned and put into work by some executives (personal opinion).

And why most of us don’t doubt is the same as why most of us don’t doubt on our chances of winning lotteries and we end up blaming our luck for such things.

But at the end when the odds of winning are decapitated by over 70% and you end up disguising it as your bad luck, it’s a recipe for disaster and self pitying.

I’m not bashing Amazon here as I think they are a business oriented company and their business is attracting a lot of people to their platform by putting honey on people’s sight.
But I’m blaming those insiders who are taking our prizes and giving us hope that one day, one fine day the bee less honeycomb will drop on our heads.

Keep dreaming.

Do one thing bro… Drop a personal mail to @jeff_bezos_amazon_owner stating all details.. He (Or his team) might consider to investigate further as he already stated that he will be resigning from CEO designation.. 🙂🙂

Its not retirement actually. He wants to focus on other ventures. Amazon has strong feet now. He wants to create more companies like amazon. …

Basically he wants to be like Elon Musk probably. stuck_out_tongue laughing

I saw someone on desidime claiming that his friend won some phone (I guess iphone through amazon quiz)
so what I think is it is not amazon but someone has some cheat to this. I see some hack going around for flipkart quizzes where they claim to win many times. same could be with amazon. Also what you are saying can be true. but nothing can be done. If you enjoy playing these quiz, then keep playing as you never know you might get lucky someday. but as you yourself know that thousands of people play these so very little chance

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed that. One fine day back in 2017-2018, I saw a guy in another deal finder website saved the winners’ name and phone no pages of many quizzes of several months and found that there are repeated names and numbers.
Even I did a little sample and found 3-4 names/numbers repeated.
I knew that Amazon India was not giving away as many prizes as they claimed and maybe have away about 2-3 prizes a year.
There was a youtube channel that posts Amazon quizzes ans where this guy from Assam claimed Amazon quizzes are real and he won a big prize money.
But he never replied to anyone who asked simple questions like – how amazon contacted you?, what proof do they ask?, how long did you shop?
I figured that it was a some amazon insider.

I read a piece where he said a long time ago he was interested in science and space stuff too but couldn’t afford it as he had no financial back up.
I believe later on he had started a space engineering venture too and angrily replied back to trump that he’ll gladly send him to mars. sweat_smile

Amazon quizzes are like amazon forest..
I guessed the trick behind it but you researched and found it out.
So nothing is free in this world except someone’s advice !
We people even copying those quiz answers instead of thinking.. atleast we can gain some knowledge if we try without copying.. and these contests are to be taken as timepass and not hobby.

Even if there was no scam, I don’t think I might have won in the lucky draws.

E.g. I have been playing DD housie for a while now and never got lucky for any reward. The odds of being lucky are very high still never got it.
E..g There are on avg 150 players with 200 tickets and 7 awards.
So odds of winning are 3.5% (7/200).

It’s like when people are claiming Full House, I have my Fast five 🤣
