How I got Infinia Request from HDFC in Span of 4 years after opening account in HDFC

1. I have opened my HDFC account in the year of 2016. After that I changed my preference to HDFC from SBI. My professional Income was being credited into HDFC from then onwards.
2. In the Year of 2017, I have applied for HDFC credit card two to three times and they rejected my application as there was no CIBIL for my PAN Card
3. After getting my first credit card in Kotak Bank (Salaried Account), I waited for one year and maintained the CIBIL by doing payments on time and for that year every month I utilised the entire limit of 20k on my Kotak credit card.
4. One fine day, I entered details in Bank Bazaar as I was looking for a car loan and shocked to see that HDFC approved my Loan without any hurdle. One month after getting approved for the Car loan, they started selling their Regalia First LTF Credit card to me. Although I requested them to give me Diners Variant , They simply gave me the Regalia First one.
5. My limit started with 1 lakh on Regalia first which was issued on April 2018, Shifted entire purchases to Regalia first and slowly they started increasing my credit limit after few months. After reaching a certain limit of 5l, they offered me LTF regalia, then onwards I am not at all using HDFC card until and unless there is a card discount in the sale or for the Smartbuy Insta Vouchers of gyftr.
6.In 2020 january I took Topup loan on my car loan and few months after one more personal Loan in HDFC (both are pre-approved). Two of the loans will be completed by Feb 2021 and there is no single default in the payments.
7. In between , I have asked my Relationship Manager few times to upgrade my card to DIners black or Infinia and she was not that much helpful instead she tried selling other products of HDFC. Contacted grievance redressal Team also and their response was not that much encouraging. So dropped the idea of Infinia Upgrade.
8. Few days back, when I checked the Limit enhancement for my Card and there was a limit enchancement offer of 13L from 10L and I accepted it. Then checked the Upgrade section and shocked to see the offer of MC World INFINIA on my account. Successsfully applied for the card and eagerly waiting for it.
9. When submitting the upgrade request, it showed zero charges for my INFINIA. Need to confirm the same with my Relationship Manager after receiving the card. I hope it will be a LTF card.

I dont know why Axis bank is very reluctant in Issuing a credit card to me. Tried two times and they rejected. my Card limits are as below.
sbi – 0.8
icici- 1.3
indusind – 1.2
HSBC – 1.5
amex – 0.5
using hdfc cc from 2015. salary account in hdfc.. no loans nothing.. asked some branch ppl to upgrade to diners from regalia but they rejected saying not eligible.. yest rm called and told upgrading to infinia based on my payment history of hdfc cc 
Is ur card LTF or FYF
Right now diners is a better card than infinia with partner 10×. My friend upgraded to infinia from diners and now he is regretting the decision

I got regalia upgrade on my millennia card but I am not going to upgrade.
Why? Millennia is very basic card.
Not useful if you have paytm first or apay card.

@ashishreddy3421869 by seeing your post I too checked my netbanking. I also got a limit upgrade offer from 6.35 to 9.35 . I opted for it and then checked upgrade and voila I also got the offer to upgrade to Infinia and I upgraded it to Infinia. I think you missed the details , it’s first year free and than 10000+gst. The same thing is written in down notes..Looks like HDFC is running some promotion and most probably the value of Infinia will be coming down..
Already it has been devalued by 40%. Before they were giving Rs 0.5 per reward point now they are giving Rs 0.3 per reward point.
No upgrade for me 
Still stuck with money back card. Limit increased to 14.5 lacs from 11.5 lacs but says temporarily unavailable when i click to upgrade. Its been 7 years now with this card.
I am eligible to upgrade to New Diners Black from Regalia First. Please let me if I should go for it

I am getting an upgrade from club miles to privilege. Should I take it?
I got option to upgrade to Diners black LTF . But I heard if we upgrade to Diners, it’s not possible to upgrade to Infinia and the chance is very less. I have near to 8 lakhs limit and I don’t want to loose the option of Infinia upgrade if I opt for this option. Any dimers here who upgraded to Infinia from diners black ?
Even i had heard that it has very less chance to upgrade into infinia from diners. and i am also fearing to upgrade to dcb. Do let me know if you found anyone who had upgraded to infinia from diners black.
In Upgrade option, its showing Infinia Annual Membership as Zero.
But in footer notes, its mentioned as First Year Free for Infinia upgrade and then 10k+GST Annual charges….
So, its not clear if completely LTF or just FYF …

For me in card upgrade option they are showing diners black card annual fees written is 0. Currently i am holding regalia first should i go for an upgrade? Is there any hidden charges for the same?

Can anyone tell me the difference between accumulated reward points & redeemable reward points? I got a message from HDFC
10000 bonus Reward Points credited to your HDFC Bank Credit Card ending XXXX on 02/JAN/2021 for Regalia Milestone year ly Tier I. Chat with EVA, resu.io/ZPCKZ7
But when I checked with EVA it showed as
Accumulated 26k or so & redeemable 7.6k.

Thats good they giving LTF, but HDFC can change LTF to charged card and there are few peoples i know.

Got a call today from my RM for upgrade from my regalia ltf to infinia ltf. I asked about the few cases where its offered ltf and later charged the fees. As per him its complete ltf. Any risk in going with the upgrade?
I don’t think so because only higher limit users got the high end card i.e above 5l limit and hdfc is not issuing any new cards from 2 months ,so they are giving high end card basing on profile
Congrats 🎊. I have 3 car loans Audi A6, figo and tiago worth 36 lakhs with hdfc. Still stuck with diners club miles with just 2L limit for last 3 years. No LE or upgrade.
Recently they giving ugrades aggressively .check your luck for limit increase first and then card upgrade

NOTE: For card sourced starting 01-11- 2020, Below T&Cs are applicable
1. If the Card remains inactive and is not used for effecting any transaction for a continuous period of 3 (Three) months, the Bank reserves the right to revoke the benefit of Life Time Free status of the Card and Bank also reserves the right to levy yearly renewal fees second year onwards with no fee being charged for the first year only.
2. The Bank reserves the right to cancel the Card in case the Card remains inactive and is not used for effecting any transaction for a continuous period of 6 (Six) months after prior written notice sent on the email address and/or phone number and/or communication address, registered in the records of the Bank.

Whether the above T&Cs are applicable only for newly received card or do I have to do minimum 1 transaction every 3 months forever to be LTF card ?

@ All, if you are not sure if your upgraded card is LTF or FYF, send an email to HDFC Senior Management Team & get a WRITTEN confirmation from them : PriorityRedressal.CreditCards@ hdfcbank.com [remove the space]
Based on the existing relationship with the bank & your current card usage, some upgrades will be LTF & some will be FYF only…
So, whenever you see an upgrade offer in the netbanking, send an email to the before mentioned team & get the confirmation from them about the card being LTF or FYF & only then click that Upgrade button…
