I am actually planning on opening an acc in ujjivan bank. I don’t remember suggesting to avoid small finance banks completely but rather that don’t put all your money/majority of money/more than 5 lakh in there which you can’t afford to get stuck for even few days/week. Their site says free Rupay platinum debit card with 25k mab priority acc.
@manitian is using this acc fine for quite some time now.

Kuch logo k pas ujjvan bank ka RuPay Platinum debit card ha bas itna pata ha. Baki account type and FD ka khud dekhlo.

How is SBM bank
Good interest rates , very few branches , basic Internet banking and mobile app. Not much charges.
As expected, I already mentioned this earlier that offline acc opening all have some AMB requirement as per branch official. If you are going to keep at least 1 lakh+ in that acc most of the time then simply open the privilege acc offline which has 25k mab & no imps/rtgs/rupay platinum debit card charges.
makes sense to open 25k account variant if you really want to gain from their savings interest rate.

AU bank is best bank, Zero balance account and physical RuPay Platinum debit card.
lots of other bank offers available on AU bank.
Then people should simply close the accounts and share the experience on social media. No point surrendering to their blackmailing. If the closure rate is high, that itself will be a negative for the bank ranking.

@abhishek012;@chotabaxxa800 @akki.akki @Manitian opened digital savings account and have blocked card but as per bank and branch there is no gurantee if it will be reissued again automatically or not.if it does there will be replacement charges.
someone wanted to open privilege account but it can be opened only thru offline channel. branch is saying that taking kavach plan with same is compulsory https://www.ujjivansfb.in/assets/brochures/217/... check page 3 click here. payment is needed for this plan. customer care is saying to contact branch if its compulsory or not. digital account is bad really bad, neft is taking very much time to get credited to beneficiary account. avoid if transactions need to be done soon. 25k is good but they are forcing this kavach plan
are you able to use all the features of netbanking and mobile banking ( including fund transfers) without debit card ? Or is Debit card used for signup etc ?
