How long does it take address update of aadhar online

Updated my address 2 weeks back, received SMS saying approved in 3 days. But still don’t see the updated address. Does the approval SMS mean update is done?

check your status of update request on aadhar website by referance number…
I also updated my aadhar address last week, first the request was still in processing for a week so, i cancelled that request and raised a new one and new request processed in 1 day i.e. verified by backend operators and now it takes some time to refect so you have to wait a day or two are your request is processed.
A piece of advise if possible update via aadhar center offline because it will be processed in 1-2 days.
I have also requested mobile number change 10 days ago by going seva kender. but till date its not updated.
Mine details got updated today. Will they dispatch updated aadhaar copy also ? If yes then by when

Yeah, it usually takes 3-4 days to get updated. You can check using DigiLocker app by refreshing the linked aadhar instead of checking the update status on uidai website.
Mine took 1.4 months via portal

I updated mobile number by visiting offline center 2 days ago. On Aadhar portal, it says mobile number updated in records, under section verify mobile number. But otp for other aadhar services are not coming. Why is so 🤔
Wait for a day or two, then try to download your latest Aadhar from uidai website and see if you get the OTP. If you do get it, then your mobile number has been updated. If you don’t get OTP for other services, then you can speak to uidai customer care @ 1947.
just one month before mine changed in 3days and also reflected in e-aadhaar.

My address update took around 10 days using online portal. But physical card has not yet been dispatched even after a month. Any idea?
Instead of waiting for the plastic-coated paper Aadhar card, you can always apply for a PVC card by paying Rs 50 at the uidai portal. It’ll be dispatched and delivered quite fast, depending on your location.
when we request for aadhar update online by ourself then it goes pending for verification and that verification is done by operators so sometime it took a day and sometime it may even took max 90 days… my advice is if it is pending for verification for more than a week then cancel it and again raise a new request…
if possible go to offline center as by doing so we can bypass the verification stage and our request processed in aroung 2-3 days normally

Mine got updated on same day, if you visit Aadhar centre, it should be immediately get changed,
I have raised the request for Address update and Photo Change at the nearest aadhar center(Direct).It’s been nearly 8 days since the request has been taken but still the status is showing as pending verification.Wondering how even after approaching the center with documents still the process getting delayed for the payed service.
Can I cancel my request when it is in validation stage. If yes how can I do that
