Thought to discuss on how to max the benefits of paid credit cards and Make best use out of them...
Coz many of the LTF free cards don't offer much value in terms of Reward points
Below are the Paid Cards I hold
SBI Simply Click - 499 + 18%GST / Annum (Took just to get benefits of the SBI regular card offers on Amazon and Flipkart)
SBI Simply Save - 499 + 18%GST / Annum (Recently took as it was preapproved with Rs.500 Amazon GV, will close it after a year)
Standard Chartered Digismart - 49 + GST ( Fee Waiver on Spends of 5k per month, I spend approx. 3.5k on Myntra to get 20% off and Load Paytm wallet for remaining 1.5k to get fee waiver)
Amex MRCC - 1st Year Free , 2nd Year 1500 + GST ( Took the card 10 Days back as its free for 1st year under the referral offer and also I found its one of the best card out in market if you can manage to spend 6k monthly on this card , it will fetch you approximate 5% reward value)
ICICI MMT - 499 + GST (Only One Time Need to Pay this , post that card will be LTF - Took the card just to use for regular Amazon and Flipkart Offers)

SBI CB
SBI BPCL
Why not simply click, why BPCL
Only sbi cashback which is going to be free as 2l spends is definite
Holding
SBI Simply Click, fee waiver with 2 Lac spent is feasible
HDFC Infinia, First year free, will evaluate next year and might cancel as fee is ~12k.
Amex MRCC/Pat travel: will pay the fee with RP
Axis ACE: fee waiver with 2 Lac spent is feasible
BoB Ererna: first year free. will cancel next year as SBI CB is giving better value
Just call cc before card renewal and ask for retention offer as card fees is high. They will surely give u some offer else say that u will close this card... I asked for retention and they said spend 30000 in 90 days and we will revert ur renewal fees with GST
Axis Airtel: useful to pay bills on airtel (Broadband 25% cb, others 10% cb)
SBI cashback: FYF, will be keeping it for 5% cb on (limited) online spends.
I have been trying to get both of these since quite some but unable to get 😭
Airtel app just shows no offer present for you at moment
SBI straight reject due to internal policies
worst thing is I have account in both axis and sbi 🥲
All my LTF cards are very basic and have rewards even less than a debit card. So I took FK Axis CC and SBI SimplyCLICK CC as paid. Easy to spend the required amount on both these cards for annual fees waiver. The joining fees were reversed as vouchers. So all good.
Double post
How you hold two SBI cards OP? I tried to apply SBI simply click while having other SBI card, got rejected
You can hold two SBI CC + one co-branded SBI CC
SBI Simply Save - 499 + 18%GST . Bhai even with 500 rupees gift voucher they ll take 90 rupees. No clear benefits
Paid Cards -
Axis Ace - 499+ gst
SBI Simply Click - 499+gst
ICICI MMT - 499+GST(1 TIME)
I spent easily more than 1L in sbi so effectively free.
Ace I have to pay 499 as it has 2L spent .
@10ven , yes bro you are correct....
@bikidas2060 bro try to get your card variant change....
2 Lakh to aaram se ho jayega, many guys do mobile orders for others 😁
Axis Airtel & ace
Only 1.
SBI SimplyClick.
Cause my friend's iphone EMI is going on this card.
Otherwise would have closed it, specially after devaluation.
Axis airtel, Axis ace, SC Ultimate, Amex MRCC, SBI Ola, SBI Cashback
How you manage to make best use out of SC ultimate bro ?
Axis Ace
SBI SimplyClick
SBI Cashback
Also have these Lifetime free
Flipkart Axis
ICICI Amazon Pay
ICICI Platinum
HDFC Indianoil
icici platinum, any RP and CB on it? can't find anywhere on website.
Axis Ace
Amex MRCC
Citi Rewards
Whats the best card for fuel spends? preferred reward points instead of direct cashback. No issue of annual fee/renewal fee.
How to get sbi octane, help me out
Once I was getting it pre-approved, but I postponed it thinking of taking it near to my SBI BPCL renewal date and cancel it.. But when I tried to apply for it, it was gone..
Keep checking pre-approved card page, you might get it sometime...
Paytm Citi for Paytm spends. Soon to be closed. Always reached waiver. So no fee paid.
Sbi cashback for online spends. Always reached waiver. So no fee paid. May close if 5% gets discontinued or any heavy devaluation.
Axis magnus for any spends amounting 1L. Only Joining fee paid, no option. But benefits outweigh the fee. May close next year if they discontinue 1L milestone. Definitely not reaching 15L milestone for fee waiver 😅.
ICICI MMT - Took it as there was only joining fee and they were giving 500 MMT cash and I had only 1 or 2 cards at that time.
Paytm citi card uses?
amex mrcc: will keep till they support wallet +1500x4,1000 MR aslo they gave complimentary smartearn card with it
sbi ola : will ditch it soon as no longer use ola , uber offer far better price anyway
citi reward : i dont know why i have this card , will dump it soon if citi dont make it ltf
axis ace: 2% on everything +grab deal is my primary use for market offline
sbi cashback: first year free so use till then see
Nobody seems to have mentioned Axis Freecharge yet.
Fees I think is Rs. 350 which will be waved off at a spend of 50k in a year.
It gives 5% real cashback on every transaction done on Freecharge app (1% + gst convenience fees are charged on Freecharge for electricity > 1k, so effectively one gets 3.9% I think on electricity).
I combine this with AMEX MRCC to get 4-5% on other spends overall.
Overall, I feel 50K spends Axis Freecharge for utility + 1.5L spends on Amex MRCC for other spends gives around 4-5% cashback and much better than having Ace + SBI cashback combo as this combination effectively becomes LTF as the spending criteria can be easily met.
Guys, i spend 38-45k on fuel every month via credit card, is there any reward point/ milestone based card which i should be getting, it is getting very difficult for me to decide
I have only SBI Prime which is ₹2999/year. No specific reason. Major all spends happens on that. Will get renewal fees waiver anyway by spending 3L in a year.
The remaining 3 are LTF (Apay ICICI, Kotak league + Axis MyZone)
I have only one paid card and that is SBI fbb Style Up card. Now i want to close it and want to get SBI cb card. Can anybody tell me the process of getting SBI CB card?
SBI BPCL with additional 2 add on cards for fuel spends.
HDFC millennia with 2 addon cards for 5% cashback on Flipkart and Amazon (they told it was free while taking, i don't know whether it has charges)
Which card is best for fuel among those?
There are many premium cards in the market out there, which justify their high fees and people holding them
reap more benefits than the card fees , please share if you know which such cards to take.
