it depends on who driving car…

suppose u attached ur car with uber or ola and heir a driver then ur income will be bout 15 to 30k and if u do self drive then u can easliy make 50 to60k do not dream of 1 lakh rs..those days are gone inicially people are making a huge money from uber and ola due to so many loop holes and bugs or nice offers but now all bugs have been solved and offers is too low..

Last month I got a chance to discuss this with various drivers @ Mumbai.

Everyone said same thing – ‘Mumbai ki public ko kaali peele ki aadat pad gai hai, wo wait nai karengey. Road pay aatey hi jaisey hi koi kaali peeli deekh gai, wo baith jaayengey’

@ other cities, high chances of making money (minimum 50K if you spend 12+ hrs a day). But for mumbai – m not confident as of now..

Apart from Uber, Ola and likes, there is one program initiated by Zoomcar caleld ZAP, Zoomcar Affiliate Program.

Sounds interesting so do explore that.

The program basically let’s you purchase a new car, either a swift or ritz, and run lease it to Zoomcar for 4 year period so that you get 70% of the profits earned from your car.

Lot’s of terms and conditions but worth exploring.

I contacted them, got all the details and later sent them a reverse questionnaire with all the concerns I had but they never cleared out the questions I had regarding the earning and asked me to attend a session at Bangalore to clear out all my doubts.

It’s not about the guarantee, it’s about the financials shared by their. The assumptions made were deviating from the pricing shown on the website and that was a considerable deviation. Also the breakdown of car usage was too generalised across weekends, peak days and weekdays so data was missing there too. No data was provided on Insurance that they provide and terms of it. No details were provided on how the usage details will be kept transparent and accessible.

I guess these apply to everyone willing to join the program and needs to be addressed in general.

Decent money is there but it’s no easy job.
Hard work needed.

Real benefit is only if you yourself drive your car until unless you have more than 1 car

Nowadays Ola is killing uber big time with all the commissions. Already plenty of car owners shifted from Uber to Ola.
Uber trying to make a comeback by giving new commission structure.

Basically in Uber if you complete 14 trips you get Minimum Business Guarantee of Rs 4000/Day
Out of this 4000 uber’s commission will be 20% + other govt. taxes so you get close to 3100 and then depending on your vehicle fuel consumption which going to be anywhere between Rs 500-1000/day your net profit is anywhere between Rs 2000-2300/day
Rs 2300*30Days = 69000

Then you have you car EMI also which will be anywhere between Rs 10000-15000/Month

For Ola also everything is similar just little plus minus in earnings.
Ola’s commission structure varies from City to City. In Kolkata it’s upto Rs 7000/Day occasionally and usually similar to Uber.

My mentor will shade more light on it.

little more light, https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_wink.gif 300rs per week for mobile and internet charges(can save if you go with own device and internet)… + Uber provide surge pricing to driver, ola wont provide… i heard it is 25% commission now… in OLA its 15 trips as per yesterdays update…. But OLA cheats in providing incentive properly, but Uber is perfect in this… I travel a lot in cab from past 1.5yrs, uber is gud compared to OLA in all aspects… it is better to invest own money and drive, if you are going with EMI or driver, you will end up by selling ur car at mid stage https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif

@FeelMyL0Ve

Yes OLA is a big cheat they just lure drivers by showing big commission same like sunny leone and once you get all excited boom you get nothing. Ola’s customer support is a big joke for everything they have only one answer we lodged your complaint and will revert shortly and they never do and once you force the with continuous follow up they will say you did not get MBG cos you did fraud. https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_lol.gif

Earning money is easier if you drive tfs or ola micro.

And it’s still 20% for both.

Buddy you cannot ride your personal car in Uber or Ola or any other company. You need a commercial number for that.
However one can always convert their personal number to commercial number by paying additional taxes. One can Visit RTO they will explain everything.

White number se hi baat banegi.

True but Carpool or Uberpool is different from the regular Uber Cars and for that a commercial number is mandatory.
However you are right as I overlooked the Carpool option for personal cars but then here we talking about the main earning not side earning. Karma for the info. https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif
