How to cope with depression due to childlessness

We underwent multiple rounds of ovulation induction, IUI, and IVF, all of which failed, but then we conceived naturally. However, we lost our first baby in the sixth month due to a heart anomaly. We conceived naturally again, but this time the sac formed without an embryo. We haven't done any chromosome karyotyping tests. Our doctor suggests using an egg or sperm donor, but we are not comfortable with that. How can we overcome this?

Opt for much more advanced clinics where there will be rigorous testing of all sorts . Even if this doesn't give a good result then try to adopt. If not interested in adoption then pro-actively help/ support orphanages or financially poor children. This kind of acts will surely bring happiness into your lives.

Never adopt from a relative.

If you think you can love an adopted child unconditionally, then do plan for it and in parallel plan for child birth as well. Adoption takes around 3 years or so, and gives you flexibility to prefer gender, age and many other such parameters.
My wife and I always wanted to adopt along with having our own child, so we applied for it last year and now eagerly waiting to hear the good news.

As suggested by APS004 above, please adopt a child, preferably a girl child from an orphanage. Multiple unnatural pregnancies are not good for the female body (someone please correct me if I am wrong here).

Current wait time for Child Adoption in India is 4 years minimum with legal route.

Why do parents adopt a child instead of taking custodian of an orphaned kid?
Parents adopt a child in obligation to society. That's bad. If anyone genuinely want to enjoy parenthood throughout their lives , go for adoption.
Most people enjoy the kids not the teens/adults. I feel it's wise to take custody instead of parenthood.
