Why though? Make payment and keep it active. They may start new service in December. If you really want to cancel the account, call support and raised request or get the procedure. Here's the contact information for them. 08069081111 9AM to 9PM

It took me ~1 year to get them closed in CIBIL.

They will deactivate your account.

6 months back, I have sent an email to delete my account(I didn't have Lazypay card). They asked me for reason and then they deactivated my account.
After that, for a month I got OTP when I tried to login again. But now I'm not getting OTP.
Recently customer support confirmed that my account/number was permanently blocked and can't use the same number and same KYC document again for a new account.

Blocking permanently is different from deactivation.

I requested to deactivate my account in Mar 22 and for some reason in Oct they reopened my acc. In cibil with 100rs dues hence I had to login again. After downloading app Login was smooth but I had to reactivate my account to check pending dues, with just otp my acc. Was reactivated again

PS - They keep your kyc for atleast 2years I have confirmed this with Payu principal nodal officer..

I didn't have Lazypay card or any dues. It was not reported to Cibil and No issue with Cibil.

6 months back, I have asked them for account delete but they just deactivated.
Since it's only got deactivated, recently I asked them for reactivating the account. They said they can't do and asked me to create new one.

My Lazypay account was with secondary number which I'm going to stop using after few months. All I want, customer support shouldn't reactivate the account and I shouldn't get the OTP if I try for login. So I'm not worried about whether my account deleted/deactivated/blocked.
