I have not installed any extensions or add ons so how can I remove/uninstall them?
I have done the regedit thing but it couldn’t solve my issue https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_sad.gif

You may just fully scan your computer with an anti-virus if you can’t find the malware on your own.

Just one solution to these problems is a good antivirus. I also faced same problem but then I installed KIS 2016 and all these adwares were clean bold https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_biggrin.gif

1 right click on your chrome and select properties
Now in target if u see anything after chrome.exe /xxxx/xxxx
Clear those xxxxx from the target link

To clean the computer visit the link after chrome.exe to get the destination folder of virus…..delete that folder

Buy me a iphone 7 …done

More than anti-virus you need ‘Common Sense 2016’. These ‘viruses’ don’t install on their own.

1. Check your browser extensions.

2. Go to control panel, check installed programs for any suspicious one.

its most likely the browser extension only but very diff to remove.

I think it is due to IDM browser extension, but I can’t remove that.

Quickheal is one of he worst anti-virus I have ever encountered.

My recommendations:
1. Eset
2. Bit defender

Have you downloaded new software from strange website recently? Check the Properties of your all browsers by right clicking the browser shortcut to see if there is the malicious URL in the Target field.

False positives and when I scanned an infected users PC via ESET, it detected the virus which Quick heal couldn’t.

one option is to boot from a bootable Ubuntu usb drive, manually search and delete the malware files. But it can take a hell lot of time.

In the future if this happens completely uninstall any software you installed using Revo uninstaller and run a Adw cleaner and restart your PC .

For adware:
Just go to the extensions tab on Google Chrome, on Configuration; then activate the Developer Mode. Exit Chrome, and enter again. Go to the Extensions tab, and under the ADWARE program tab, there must be a text where it says: “Loaded from:…….” Click there, remove everything it is in there, and remove it again from the Recycle Bin. Restart Chrome, and you won’t see this adware again.

For browser hijacker:
1.Reset browser settings
https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/329621...

2.Disable/Remove Chrome extensions
https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/329621...
3.Download Security tool/Removal tool and run it from cmdline in Windows Safe Mode.

Do scan your machine for several times.

or Try the manual removal guide like this:
